7 Stands Farm is a small sustainable farm tucked back in the mountains of Wilkes County North Carolina. My wife and myself both work off farm jobs but love coming home in the afternoon taking care of our animals and our garden. on our farm we have Myotonic (fainting) goats, VSH honey bees, chickens and pigs. Our goal is to raise our animals in a pastured based system, with as little input of western vet medicine and chemicals as possible. Our honey bees have not been treated with any chemicals in the last 15 years We offer goat, pork and chicken as protein options. Our farm also offers all natural honey.
We sell MGR registered breeding stock from our goats. We sell VSH nucs (starter hives) and queens bees. We sell pastured pork retail to the public also. Visit us at www.7stndsfarm.com
Goats , the mind readers of the animal kingdom. 50 goats in a pasture , within 10 secs the one youre after knows that shes IT and is heading for another county
I think I'm buying a new one but I just want bare bones. No bumper or any windshield. Just a bed to haul stuff around small acreage and get some things done. From what I hear that 700 engine has been around forever. I wanna buy once cry once. For light duty this should probably last me the rest of my years. Any concerns so far?
I have not had any problems with mine at all and i love it would buy it again the 700 has tremendous power all you need around the farm for shure but let me suggest one thing if you can afford it i would recommend the windshield and top if i did nothing else. like you say buy once cry once. ask your dealer about putting after market top and windshield on it and not use all Honda parts they work just as good but much cheaper thank you for watching and replying to our videos
Might start in the middle and work your way out. Around here the fawn like to stay on the edge of the fields. This gives them time to think about it and move. Not saying it works every time.😁
That is a good suggestion I have learned something I will give it a try next time. Thank you for taking time to send me that info and thanks for watching our videos
Hello!!! I love the idea but how do you do it . I see it , is fast , I can see the drill but I don’t know what else you used to achieve this . I think I must be super dumb . Please explain
You could wean after 6weeks whenever they cut teeth wean them 1:12 Exactly right Some people is stupid an has no common sense. How would they like if you had someone biting your nipples for 5 months an draining you…Some people have no logic or can comprehend
I have never weaned at 6 weeks didn’t know I could thanks for that information I wi look into that band I agree people are so far removed from real world farming/livestock it is pitiful thank you for watching our videos
The total video is almost 3 min long the calf was definitely nursing mom but there might not have been enough video for you to completely see. Thank you for watching and commenting on our videos
We actually have a small amount of land sow we do an entire herd of registered Kikos to maximize money for each sale I wish I had enough land to do sheep and goats and be more hands off Thank you for watching our videos
Yep, I bought that same Drummond drill pump at harbor freight. It’s better than what Home Depot, Ace, and Lowes sells. It works great. Now all he needs to do is find a gear box, run an electrical line out to the gear box, affix a regular drill head to the gear box, attach a switch at the other end of the line so he doesn’t have to walk all the way down there to turn it on, and he’s in business.
Mine was born mid January 2024 to qualify for the test they have to be born after January 1st of the year the test is taking place and must weigh 40 pounds to qualify to enter
I’ve been subscribed to your channel for a long time, & hopefully will keep subscribed, (unless I accidentally unsubscribe which I have done with some channels) I’m fairly sure that I have never posted anything here before (that I remember), but if it helps… I will continue.
I put a white, sun resistant rope as a top wire. It gives the hogs/goats something to see and gives the deer an obvious barrier to jump over. It also protects the wire from fallen tree limbs.
Thank you for always sticking with me and watching my videos I really appreciate it and I really do like the back glass in the Honda more than I thought I would
I’m not really a fan of Oliver’s fiat built tractor but it’s what you like I like Oliver’s big 2255s 1950-T but it’s what you like and that’s all that matters
Honestly I would not call me a fan it is just what my grandfather had and when he passed I bought a great deal in it and it does a good job for me I really wish I knew more about tractors and models Thanks for your comment and if you can tell me a little bit more about it that would be great

Have you had any issues with using the insultube instead of the screw in insulators? Also, it looks like all of your wires are hot? What is the theory with this vs the people who alternate hot and grounds?
I have not had any problems with the insultube I like making all wires hot to keep Goats in check and predictors out I understand both theories I just like them all hot Thank you for watching our videos
