There are quite a few people like us that have a weakness for these kind of games^^ There is a community driven solution for this game. I think I had to replace the exe with a different one. I wrote a tutorial on how to set it up in the description in one of these videos.

Absolutely. I try to force every game to run on this resolution. And it is possible most of the time, I would say 98%. The Games that don't run on this resolution get skipped. I have a second monitor wich is a normal 16:9 screen right next to my 32:9 one but I use it for discord and youtube only basically. To Answer your question: Yes, I play in 32:9 all the time and I hope STALKER 2 will support it natively by default without the need of workarounds.
Lol no thats not the reason. I wanted to do a video of this game for quite a while but the steam version is cooked. So I installed an old disc version and that one actually worked.
for frames best ive managed is going into the mcm, going to the motion blur/fps motion blur and setting it to the lowest the frames go. its pretty damn smooth but the engine is a brutal construction to get stable fps on
Damn, that's really impressive! Any idea what your frame-rate is/was? Since I upgraded my display to a 4k 32:9 display this game runs at a slideshow pace unless I knock down the resolution. Seems like my RTX 2060 really is the bottleneck if yours can run like this with a 3070ti.
I now have a 4070 Super and I also didnt play the game for quite a while now so I cant really answer that but I think it didnt run that great. Overall I am disapointed with CS2 sadly. I loved the first one but CS2 needs more work to be done on it.
yea lol It was the same for me as well. And back then, Test Videos from gaming magazines also had low fps - I think almost no PC could handle that game back then. But when you look at it now, it still stutters depending on the camera angle.
yea it is really good. Didnt play much but it was fun! I remember the marketing for this game was huge back then... untypical when you think about it since this is a Tactic Game basically.
yea you are right because RAGE and WOLFENSTEIN are both made by ID Software. Later installations of the Wolfenstein series are made by machine Games. What I especially like about RAGE is the artstyle. It is really unique and looks awesome. I wish Borderlands was less comic-like and more like this.
with some workarounds, yes! I also played it like 19 years ago on a 4:3 screen. Its so cool to see these old games on new and big monitors. It works great for 2D.
I didnt play it much yet, but I am liking it! The Car Handling is kinda stiff tho and needs improvement but I like the atmosphere of the game and the graphics are decent too. Also, we waited for a loong time lol
@@rg8597 I tested it yesterday and the game now has a Weapon FOV Slider! Very nice work and kudos to the dev. I should make a updated video sometime soon.
