Heirloom Harvest grew out of our passion for growing our own food. That passion took us from a back yard veggie patch to full time market gardeners and seed growers. Nowadays Heirloom Harvest is our full time business, aiming to ignite the same passion for growing food in others. The core of our business is growing traditional, unusual, non-hybrid seeds. We are not just seed growers, we are seed breeders, constantly selecting our seed lines for the best traits. We grow outdoors and organically so are also selecting to improve our seeds performance under these conditions. - Tara and John Butler
Brilliant, the only video I could make sense of. After several tries and undoing I finally cracked it. From this experience I worked out my long stems were far too thick to braid so I simply cut them with scissors to reduce thickness by half. This worked really well and I now have two magnificent braids. Thank you so much.
Excellent video. Actually shows how to use the tools. Brilliant. The triangle hoe is the most versatile tool in your garden arsenal. I use mine for everything
Thank you for this! I just harvested garlic and wanted to braid it but the picture tutorials weren’t helping much. I now have two beautiful braids of garlic.
I’d like to know this as well… I just harvested my first bit of garlic planted last fall and so excited 😆. The other two videos I watched had a lengthy “lay out and cure/dry out” before braiding… if that’s not necessary would much rather go on and braid and hang because I’m in a small space!
I braid my hard neck few days after harvest that way the stem becomes more flexible. I don't have room for curing. Never had problem spoiling in zone 4.
