Changed battery on my 2010 RT today. The 2010 is slightly easier in terms of removal of battery. You still have to remove side panel. The dummy connector is different and unclips. Was a pain replacing panels. Thank you for making the video.
You are correct. A great training aid for sure. True physics, shotgun leads, etc. With the version I have, can also create your own 5-stand clay courses. Playing this about every day! First app I purchased for VR. I also shoot sporting clays and skeet at a few clubs. Now they need a good VR app for RC helis and planes!!
Ive had this 2017 since spring 2023 and its been driving me insane not having just the radio option. THANK YOU for posting this video, this is awesome!!! THREE WHEELS OR NO WHEELS! Ride safe buddy😊
Thanks! Share to help others! While my channel is monetized, I make like $100 a year so I do not care about that. I expect to do a Q3 video in about a year or so when my Q3 battery does the same.
that second cable is the BMS since it was added to the main board. This is super easy to work on compared to the Nikon D1X by a long shot. Couldn't you just add an external battery via USBc to get it to work?
Im just need the size of the allen socket for the engine and the size for the transmission allen oil drain plug nobody has mentioned the oil drains allen size or the size for the trans drain plug.just a 6mm for the engine but not the transmission allen plug size ?
How important is removing the shock bolt? I’m having trouble getting it to line up for the axle install, could that be the issue? I didn’t remove it as I don’t have a motorcycle lift, so my floor jack is lifting at the shock
First lifting at the shock is not a good idea as it bends the shock bolt! You "may" be able to get the tire out if you don't remove the shock bolt if you jack it up higher. Maybe, not sure. The reason for removing the shock bolt is to gain more clearance (the swing arm drops lower) to get the tire out without having to remove the RT's rear panel.
New NiMH cells do need to be cycled a few times. Charged ones seem to lose ~16% state of charge after a couple of months but the self-discharging mostly flattens after that.
Careful if wanting to recharge while still in the device.. a lot of these put 5v across its output instead of 1.5v when the USB power is plugged into it.. a lot of (if not most of) the loads will be fried with 5v instead of 1.5v. I'd remove them before charging, for this reason.
Those jewelry tools work but I ended striping one screw. Hard to grip. I know the screws are very small but it is on tight. Get something with a good handle if you plan to take it apart. Also the cover screws are T2 torex. The rest are Phillips.
@@plasma453 Got a link to the battery you are looking at? If it really does not come with the cable, the one from the old battery can be peeled off and put on the new battery. Just be careful not to tear it.
Bob - where are you located and if close to 75790 - willing to change my rear tire on a 2011 Can AM Spyder RTS-SE5? If you not in my area - can you recommend someone (other than dealership) to change out to a Kumho ECSTA AST KU25 225/50R15. We simply don't have the tools and jack to do what you video. We are subscribed, so hopefully I will hear back from you.
No where near TX. I am in Ca., As for a recommendation I cannot help as I do not know what is in that area. If you are on Facebook I recommend joining a spyder group and ask.
I was able to reinstall everything back but for some reason the headset wont turn on. Tried leaving it partially open and connected to power and the light blinks red forever. Noticed the battery connector was not all the way in. So I pressed it on the socket and now it won't turn on at all, no light nor turning on. I believe something else is bad or the battery I ordered is defective... Need to test it for power with a multimeter...
@@joelosr20 The pins on that power connector are very fragile. Make sure you did not bend one over inserting the connector. look with a magnifying glass.
Enjoyed your Climb videos. I have it, but I'm afraid of heights (really, just afraid of falling), so it's taken me a while, but I'm getting better. After 2-3 weeks, I've managed to complete the beginner in casual of 4 of the locations (not the city yet). I started a couple of medium, but I still struggle with the jumping. Not so much on a game level, but just in my head. 🙂 I didn't know there were those bonuses at the ends. I wonder if that's just professional and not casual. I'll keep progressing. Thanks for showing some things I can look forward to.
My wife is also doing it and it is helping her get past her fear of heights! But she says while VR is helping, she is not sure how well she would do in real life with heights...
This doesn't make sense. So the Ni batteries show 80% because they only have 1.2v, I'm with you makes sense. But they dokt work right? But all other bstteries work even below 1.2v? I'm thinking its something else. Also Alkaline last roughtly twoce as long as the Ni snd ober that for lithium. So assuming a safe guess at 2x as much power it would take you 20+ months to get through a 20 pack of amazon basocs AA batteries assuming they last 2 months if the lithiums last you 1 month. Price wise you could buy roughly 60 alkline batteries vs an 8 pack of lithiums. So it would take you 60 MONTHS to BREAK EVEN. 5 years lol. Those lithiums sre going to be in the garbage by year 3 guaranteed.
thank you..this is what people want.. details.. sadly i watched like 3 other videos before coming here and all seemed the same and toredown every last thing.
Hey there so around 5:01 u mention that little black bar, obsly the the clutz that i am i managed to break it off... and loose it... does anyone have solotion i could use, when i start the quest it acts like the sensor doesnt see my face or finger and screen is black like when u take the set of your head so i bet that connector isnt plugged right... anyone has any ideas what i can do about it?
The original Kenda tires ARE car tires they are just horrible car tires. Best practice is to go with some other brand car tie and set the front to 14psi and rear to 24psi and you should see 45k miles. Achilles, federal and kumho are great options
@@donwon5997 OK I think you are talking about the large pin that is on the arms holding the windshield bracket to the spyder. At the 1:20 minute mark I explain that. First bring the windshield to the 1/2 up position. Then remove on one end of each pin the C-clip (use a proper tool) and tap out the pin. Now if you want to remove the arm from the spyder altogether, I do not have a video on that. But you have to remove all the panels around the area which is a big task. Spyder lovers forum has many posts about doing that. I myself have never done that sorry.
FYI, this video showed up but they do not explain how to remove the panels around the arm. But it may give you some ideas how. The service manual also shows how. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cJ62VCiIe70.html
@@donwon5997 I found this video that shows you how to get at the arm and how to remove the panels. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wRFZzlg-y44.html
Hey, this maybe an unrelated question but I accidentally fall the front part of my quest 2 (where the cameras are) into the ground. The fall was about 1 m. After that when looking into the glasses, the image I'm seeing moves with my head and it's kinda like jumpy. Do you know what things to look into?
