Hey, most people have seen me racing on FailRace's main channel, but this channel is where I post companion content: my own perspective on races, challenges and Survive the Hunt videos. With more behind-the-scenes content to come, including unseen Survive the Hunt episodes!
long bowl pick a direction and go stop doing doughnuts in the middle of the road stop doing left turns and backtracking and then backtracking again. get me dizzy you know if your direction is wrong go up to the next block and take a left or right and go that way because you're more likely to cut him off that way than just like doing doughnuts in the middle of the road or doing loopty loops On the road. Alex tends to do these moves which goes straight for a while left then right the left and right the left and right or he doubles back on himself where he doesn't like to do that often but he does do it occasionally he'll do Two turns in the same direction then it'll take another turn in the opposite direction And then he'll go straight for a while. use that to your advantage
For being a fan made GTA gametype, this game can be incredibly cinematic. Seeing a bunch of cars shoot by as you swerve to join the mob, rolling with 4 other hunters around you as you tear down the street, seeing the blimp in the distance and using it as a landmark as you haul ass towards it.
It's hard to sync with the hunted video, but it's funny to hear things like "I think is is going to the airport', while FailRace says something like 'They may think I'd be heading to the airport, but...'
With old games and consoles. CRT TV's are interlaced scan, where most stuff currently is progressive scan. So changing your TV to 1080i should help the visuals. Though you might want to get a RetroTink to play the old pre HDMI consoles on modern TV's.
The Ram is the easily the best car in GT4. For points farming. For some reason the game groups its performance with cars in the 30-50hp range like the Midget, Panda and Honda S500, despite being fast enough to compete with cars around 150hp. Thats why it always gets 200 A-Spec points.
The best way to have the controller set up is to use the right stick for acceleration and braking. As the ps triggers were not set up for analogue it's the only sensible way with a ps controller. Also. It frees up the left and right triggers for manual gearing, which tbh is the best way to okay GT. Takes a couple hours to get used to but that's nothing in the gaming world. Manual gears take seconds off your lap times. Iv been playing GT like this since the old PS1 and it still remains my favourite racing game
I'm using an Xbox controller, and the game is modded to use the triggers, which is excellent and better than the right stick imo. And I have the gears setup the same way as I do on Forza which I prefer, I am using manual
@@longbowxmkii . Sounds like a cool way to play if you are used to the other controller. I use the triggers on forza on the xbox. Also respect for using manual gears man! I reckon the game is more set up for them.
