SpraySmarter has provided thousands of Farmers, Applicators, and Homeowners a way to get their sprayer parts from the leading suppliers - companies ET already works with in building its Apache Sprayers. And we’ve learned that SpraySmarter is a great way to share our expertise about agriculture, crop spraying and sprayer parts. With the sprayer parts and precision ag expertise of North America’s largest independently owned manufacturer of self-propelled sprayers behind it, the website quickly took off and applicators around the world began calling on SpraySmarter.com for all their spraying needs. SpraySmarter’s 70,000-square-foot main distribution and training center is located in the middle of America’s Farm Belt, in Mooresville, Indiana.
Do you put the pressure regulator between the pump and the valve/T assembly? I presume that's a good spot or it could also be put off the T to the hand sprayer. Would like to see the video, part 2, where you lay out the parts for the pressure regulator section. I like what you've done in this video .... because I hate plumbing ... so many options!
Do you happen to have the part number for the nozzle body with the built-in check valve? I have a 2.2 GPM/70PSI sprayer I'm looking to make a boom for. Great video!
Here is the link for the check valve on top. www.spraysmarter.com/lawn-turf/nozzle-bodies/dry-boom-nozzle-bodies/teejet-3-8-quick-teejet-nozzle-body-assembly.html
Can you do an updated video with updated links most aren’t working . Also there isn’t a link to nozzles with built in check valves only without wish is one of the broken links
Thank you for the informative video. Getting ready to build my ATV boom sprayer for logging roads & trails this summer. Valving off the boom to run the wand is a great idea.
The swivel and handle are both spec'd as NPS thread instead of NPT. Did you put an o-ring at that interface to prevent leaks or was the PTFE tape enough?
Would you happen to know what size the threads are, we should be able to provide parts for the wand, send a picture to Service@spraysmarter.com and we will see what we can do.
Can I add 4or 5 48” extensions together. I’m trying to clean the eaves of a second story house. 2:19 would that work with a 12 V sprayer and which sprayer would you recommend?
Yes, 48" is the longest TeeJet carries, I personally think most of them are equal, but I recommend you look for one with at least a 3 gallon per minute pump.
My order arrived today, and with one exception I am very pleased. I recommend ordering the 114445A-3-CELR Spray Tip Cap instead of the part in the description. The part Cliff uses has a shaped center hole made for the TeeJet nozzle, but it fixes it in place. The 114445 part has a round center hole and will allow you to rotate the nozzle as needed. I was able to modify my caps with a small half-round file.
Just what I was looking for. I live in Germany and placed an order to build two spray wands. The CF valves with 11/16-inch threads on both ends are available from a U.S. company called Oesco.
That would require a valve at both ends or make them individual sections with a manifold, you could make one from a cross(CR038) then attach a valve for each nozzle. Banjo makes a manifold but it has 8 outputs(TM075/050).
I would say it would be pretty hard on EPDM, we do have a selection of bleach pumps, follow the link.www.spraysmarter.com/liquid-application/pumps/valley-industries-soft-wash-pump-5-5-gpm-60-psi.html
If you're using a Teejet tip, they tell you the optimal spacing and height from the ground for each nozzle type. It's all in their catalog. As Spraysmarter replied, most of the fan style tips are 20" and 20" or a 1:1 ratio.
I'm having trouble with my Raven Viper Pro having trouble with anybody helping me figure it out with somebody from this video could reach out to me and point me in the right direction
Used one of these in 1995 in OR close to where my friend's Dad invented them. I wish they'd pay someone to review them and correct any flaws. I recall it was tricky to fill, may have dripped and was not ideal but seemed to work maybe 70% as well as you'd hope. I tried to make my own, it dripped (probably killing non-target plants). The old style seemed to be pretty low-tech, the reviews on Amazon aren't superfluous. Wish this thing could be my go to. Maybe get an engineer on it.
My pump was used when I got it probably 15 years ago. It has pumped every kind of liquid and it finally needed a seal. I watched this video to see how it came apart. Mine (as old as it is) came apart just as easy.
I need help setting up my booms on my ROGator Raven Viper Pro monitor I tried to follow your directions and it just didn't work it wouldn't let me upload it
Used the meter for one year. Did everything on the video and it still only measures half. Banjo dealers have left me on my own. What a poor investment ? Banjo should let me return and have it repaired or replaced.
it would be cool if you would do 9910 dp423 , there is not many people even know they exist . I have be running it for about 6 yrs and have had no trouble until now . parts manual is not very friendly . this was a big help !!
By the way thanks for the videos. There is just some stuff that doesn't make sense. When you save your first profile as the 90ft, your sections are put in for a 90 ft guidance width. But when you switch to a guidance width of 60ft wouldn't you need to reconfig your section settings as well before you save the profile?
