Oh man, what a mess! They look like messy little lawnmowers at the end LOL!!! It does look like fun though and thankfully it looked to be mostly grass which is way better than the mud! Looking forward to the next events. You got some great footage of the zipping around out there!
@@nathanwilson588 cheers, im trying to find what people like/want. But the car talks seem popular, so going to try a few more and see how i can improve it 👍
@@fencer39 we dont have that choice lol. We cant do a lot with the land we have, so we are limited. But you cant beat grass tracks. I cant wait to get back out on it next year 😎
@@Garethfrostturkeythroat113 yeah, back indoors in 2 weeks 😭 im not a fan of racing indoors. There off road buggys, so should be off road. Hopefully we get a better summer next year, this summer was rubbish 😡
@@lo2713 yes mate we were the same really wet miserable weather, and yea the indoor not too far away, I would love indoor buggy over here we don’t have any unfortunately just on road indoor or fronties and tt02 classs But when your doing these race dates it doesn’t be long for the year to slip in.. anyways please keep up the great content and I look forward to watching your indoor racing, have fun 😊👍
What will be the total price for the hop ups you did install concerning alloy parts and other tuning parts? I think I start to find a used one and then buy the option parts new depending on their price. Regards.
@@rccarloverluxembourg718 i would hate to add it all up 😂 if you find a nice used one, it will have a few option parts, and its the pro transmission and front alloy housing i consider the essential parts.
Hello. How did you fix the undertray protection cover? Glued or screwed or taped ? Thanks, mine is hanging down as it was screwed and the lexan broke in front.
Super nice, have around 20 Schumacher rc's but only one as nice as yours: a new in a box vintage Schumacher, all my others can't compete on the shelf 😉
This is not a kit I am very familiar with, this may sound like a really stupid question but as its called the 'Buggy Champ/Racing Buggy' can you build 2 different cars with the kit? Obviously iv seen it in the blue box art and also in the red box art! Is it just a colour choice or is there more to it than that? Any help would be greatly appreciated 👍 Love the video and that classic Tamiya layout and presentation is next level 👌 every kit i have ever had with blister packs has been a real struggle to build 😅 just feels like you shouldn't cut them open and they should be left and admired! Maybe it's just me, i don't know 😁🤷
@@philipgreensmith1694 i know what you mean about the blister packs, i could happly have one unopend. You can paint it what ever colour you wish, the body is just plain white. So you could even just apply your own stickers. I think the blue ones are painted, unless there is an option to buy blue stickers ? Im not clued up with the name. But its prob been changed due to copywrite issues ?
I missed that one 😢, but that means I can enjoy watching videos from others 😅 Seems you had a blast with it, honestly I like the work on the body, looks cool, well done Richard 👍🤝
Looks great. Mine is still in the box along with the RC10CC and the special edition Gold pan with the numbered chassis. To be honest, the more videos I watch, the more I’m put off building any of them. I may sell them on.
No I feel shame, you got your built and running around the track and mine is still sitting in the basement with a clear body on it LOL!! I have not wanted to tap it all up and paint it yet. One of these days I guess. I am sure it drives well, it feels really nice on the bench. I really was let down they did such a terrible job on the instructions. I have passed up on the two releases since this as I was not interested in the on-road kit and the new buggy is cool but I am not spending another $400 to get another gold pan car. Once the do the graphite kit I will get one of those. I am glad you had such a good racing experience with it and hopefully next time the gopro comes along for the trip. I wouldn't do something like that or even delete the footage LOL!!
@@AddamsPlayground yeah im going to het the latest gold pan but will be a shelfer as the gold pan is a runner. You will love the truck, it was great right out the box, hopefully a graphite aint to far away 🤞
Cheers for the video Richard. Gives me an insight for when I get mine built up probably aim to start next week after charged. I am really enjoying how the rc10’s drive just out the box the 40th was awesome and so far the DSis good as well, so I have high hopes for the T plus they tend to be a little bit more forgiving than the buggy equivalent. See you this weekend ;)
@@Mapdec i sure did, just wish i had some running footage, but no go pro 😭 was easy to drive and could get it sliding around a few corners on the break 😁
Thanks for the vid. Im UK too and got one of these. Still boxed and waiting until you posted this. Will get a chassis protector for it. Back in the 90's I used to go to an indoor carpet circuit in Bournemouth Trucks at the time were very popular class. Its a shame they have died off a bit. Hopefully the RC10T will breathe new life into it !
@@-1-2-1- ive no idea to be honest, you would poss need to enlarge some holes. A few changes ect. So could be done if your willing to do it, i have most of the imperial drivers so not really an issue for me, except i can never remember what size is what 😂
@@bradkalman2353 there are a few, but with the kyosho mid and ultima rere’s people are running them as there pretty good on astro. Hardly any cat xls’s and top cats either. I was running a top force and loved it 😎
Quick unboxing thumbs up, when I get a kit that's in a lot of bags and I know I want to put them all back the way it was, take pictures while you unbox then you have an idea how to put it all back together!!!!!!!! Ralphie
I know this is an older video now but I'm looking for some help. I fitted the carbon plates when i fitted the Pro trans and I have a load of end float in the layshaft. I know they are slightly thicker but the shift in mesh between the spur and pinion is making it unusable. Any help greatly appreciated 🙏
@@4l3xmatley88 without seeing it, its hard to work out. But there shouldnt be that much play ? It may be worth measuring the plates to see how much thicker they are and see if it adds up. I know i have a small amount of play with the stock plates and pro trans. But it not enough to effect the mesh. Happy to help out, just fire away with any questions 👍
How do you get to race here? I used to race at my local club in the 90’s and some national events. Still have my Tamiyas and Schumachers so would love to take part again.
@@frenchbred2081 the best way is going on iconic rc on facebook, all the revival and VMR events get posted on there. If your struggling still, give me a shout 👍
@@andyrobinsonrc2480 cheers, yeah see how it goes tomo hopefully, i would chop the brass bulkhead but your not allowed brass parts at revival. Just 50g of stick on weight 😁
@@lo2713 I recently got back into the hobby. I'm getting the ones that I never could afford back in the 80's. My only modern one is a BBX. That is just such a cool buggy.
@@PsychoticBovine yeah the bbx is a great buggy, the price was a bit steep imho. But it was great to see a new chassis and it works well on bumpy ground 😎
What are the links your using for the front suspension, the triangle one that the shocks are connected too? I’ve seen those on some Top Cars and would like to change my front suspension to something like you have.
@@edwinumayam2722 there 3d printed ones, i wanted the alloy ones but been out of stock for ages and never seen a set come up for sale, im waiting to hear back to see if i can get another set as spares, but have sern ones made from carbon aswell.
