Fun Fact: Fred Seibert, one of the creators of the 1984 Nickelodeon logo, would later create the iconic studio, Frederator Studios, in 1997. And most of the shows (before 2010) were mainly co-produced for Nickelodeon.
If want there nostalgia content and everything they done so far look no further than paramount plus due to fact network currently owners is CBS STUDIOS.
Boomerang is now getting better because they are airing Popeye and Yogi Bear again but it’s horrible about the Warner bros Discovery thing however it’s bad to the point that HBO Max as it’s now called Max took away all of the 1950s - 2000’s Looney Tunes shorts it just makes me mad that I can’t watch the hunting trilogy anymore except on my Looney Tunes platinum collection volume 2 dvd and what’s worse about Max is that they took away the original Space Jam movie from 1996
There were a couple of games I showed footage of but I spent a lot of time procrastinating like most videos I do on this channel so I apologize for lack of game footage but showing pictures of what the game is was the best I could do. At least I made up for that by playing select games later on in the video.
Yeah advertisers were mad they couldn’t advertise their “adult products” on weekday afternoons during Kids’ WB! Just sad because Kids’ WB! was still getting good ratings no matter what some advertisers say. Good video man. Keep up the awesome work! Also, Cartoon Network outbid The WB/Kids’ WB! for Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! So that’s the only reason Kids’ WB! lost those two shows sadly.
Recently, Boomerang has been gradually adding back older content like The Flintstones and TopCat due to WBD prioritizing more mature programming since kids aren't watching TV anymore. Its also why Adult Swim is expanding to the 6 PM hour.
yea that’s interesting. yea i don’t even have cable. everything i watch now is online. cable is good for certain things but i cant rely on cable if i wanna watch my favorite stuff. and i noticed that adult swim actually has there own block for it now. its called “checkered past” good stuff. i hope people tell them personally that we appreciate them. they need to know
I'm glad I found this video if only to hear the "Everything is happening on Fox" song again. It makes me wish I'd kept my Fox Kids Club magazines. I don't remember the King of the Hill thing, funny to see a Sunday night show mixed in with the Saturday morning ones. It's really nostalgic hearing all the shows listed off, but it's also interesting to find out the programming history and how it switched to the Fox Box and lost Fox Family.
Watched Boomerang in the early 2000s i remember turning on the tv during the summer just watching all the cartoons on boomerang. The nostalgia is crazy. I loved the catchy theme song commercials/bumper commercials back then. They were always so random and catchy. My favorite was the Josie and Pussy Cats short. I remember the day I turned on the tv and everything was rebranded, it’s truly sad they rebranded it all. As kids now a days won’t experience the fun shows and commercials boomerang once had.
Boomerang needs to add more shows on their streaming service. I’m talking about the rest of the Looney Tunes theatrical shorts (The Ones That Have Been Removed From HBO Max), Hong Kong Phooey and the Pink Panther (1964-1980). Also they need to remove The Tom And Jerry Comedy Show and The 1975 Tom And Jerry Show on there because they’re forgettable.
A lot of missing archival programming from Boomerang. They should add pre-2004 Cartoon Network shows, some more obscure Hanna-Barbera content like Secret Squirrel, and even some Boomeraction stuff like Swat Katz.
@@ArtieArchivesyes. However I changed my mind on Boomerang removing the 1975 Tom and Jerry show and The Tom And Jerry Comedy Show. They can keep those pieces of garbage but they still need to add the used to be HBO Max exclusive Looney Tunes shorts on the Boomerang app.
@@ChildrenShowArchive456The Pink Panther shorts and anything related to it aren’t getting added to Boomerang because due Amazon owning the rights (since they brought MGM). However Amazon Prime has The Pink Panther Show (which has the theatrical Panther shorts in them) and Pink Panthers and Pals streaming on their service.
You might actually have something here. I really get the subject you're going for, and you obviously care about the topic. I often enjoyed Boomerang when the shows on the main Cartoon Network weren't what I liked. And man is it a trip to see and especially hear the old bumpers. Super catchy. Legit criticism: work on your awareness, presentation, and conclusion. Don't look like a Blood, don't present on your bed, and give more on your thoughts as to what companies can do to emulate the kind of magic they had during the time frame. I'll subscribe bro, you care about your topic
I appreciate the criticism and support, the reason why I dress the way I do is to add character, not to look like a gangster. I don't have a lot of other places to present that's why I have my bed to sit on because I don't have other things in my room to present and sit on but I will take that into consideration of other places to film at. Thanks for subscribing! More videos will be coming soon on The Nostalgia Network as I do have ideas but it will be a while before they are made.
@@BricksVids No worries man, you gotta work with what you gotta work with. Don't be afraid to get creative with your setup! I'll eat my words when you take off 👍
To someone like me, who grew up on a steady diet of all the golden oldies of Looney Toons, Tom and Jerry, and everything Hanna Barbera ever made, Boomerang was one of my favourite channels back in the day 😊
Boomerang was my favourite channel growing up, it fueled my classic cartoon hyperfixations throughout the years. I didn't know it was an international thing tho, since ppl don't talk abt it much. Most ppl talk about disney channel instead; glad to know I'm not alone lol
Boomerang was my favorite and my second favorite was Nicktoons Network. Before we got cable, I only had PBS Kids, Qubo, and CW4Kids (Later renamed to The CW Vortexx) for cartoon content.
Contrary to popular belief Mr. Hinkley Jr. is still not free. Not to mention an insane asylum aka a loony bin aka a mad house aka a crazy house aka a nut house aka a funny farm is an actual prison & the term psychiatric hospital is nothing but a sugarcoated p.c. term.
Sucks when i got boomerang back in 08 to whenever it started to suck when i was in my depressed stage this would be my go to even the music was good just sucked that i got it lastt minute or what was left of it i liked how they had all the cartoon marathons and events very creative 😢
i used to watch this all the time in 2008 (the year where i was born) it was actually a good tv channel to watch, now i just miss it alot and i almost completely forgot about boomerang, its just sad to see it go like this.
These TV channels in whole world in life are just ONLY 4 little kids!!!!!!💔😭 There's been lots of times when Sonic did something or didn't do something that made me wonder why I ever liked him. But in the end, he always comes through for me. He may do crazy things and he may do stupid things, but he never does dishonest things. That's why I'll always have faith in him! AMY ROSE, "EGGMAN FOR PRESIDENT" (Sonic X)
Toonami wore out it's welcome in it's initial run & I wasn't surprised when they cancelled it. For years, they just showed the same small handful of 1-2 season shows ad-nauseum, over & over till you knew every moment by heart. Anime was a financial sinkhole for them; no one was buying merch or DVDs to make up for the licensing fee, & the money they spent censoring the shows, so they resisted picking up new stuff for years. They even had competition from other channels showing anime, like International Channel & Sci-Fi Channel. Cowboy Bebop & Trigun were awesome, but after the 13th time, who wants to watch them again?
Space Ghost Coast to Coast was probably my introduction to the concept of shitposting. I wonder if Vinny Vinesauce was thinking of that show when he created the Grey Leno Show.
