Several different musicians from Jimmy Page to Robert plant to Steve Hackett and Mick Fleetwood have made claims about this place being haunted as hell
I seriously doubt they were jealous, every uneducated person in this comment section needs to.. wAkE tHe FuX Up YeAh... that's a daft thing to say. I'm sure you all like bands or music that your mates don't like? It's just a matter of opinion. Why can't you all respect that? Jimmy a pedo..who stole other music and passed it off like they were so prolific...yeah ok.. nice one.Zeppelin were a collage band nothing more. They were rock stars, not musicians. There's a huge difference. Think about it seriously. You Zeppelin sycophants are Bloody sick..smh...😅
You notice how most people from the same or before their time have little good to say of them. Anyone post them has nothing but praise. Shows how ahead of their time they were
Page and Hendrix set the bar very high early on for being amazing on guitar. Those guys both played guitar like every waking hour. Jimmi used to fall asleep with his guitar in his hands. Before forming Zeppelin Page used to play as a studio session player 12 hours a day 6 days a week. Slash said he used to practice 12 hours a day too. I know Eddie VanHalen used to play pretty much all the time as well. Just shows it's not really natural talent it's an insane amount of dedication to the instrument. An obsession.
Their contemporaries were all reserved in their praise, while those came later were over the top with theirs. I think the contemporaries were envious and jealous. I think they all thought why didn’t I think of this!

the thing about queen is they were the only one who didnt let their egos get in the way of their opinion. everyone else sounds jealous because they were.
When John Lennon says “they sound alright. Jimmy page has always been a bloody good guitar player” where in that quote does he sound jealous? Just curious.
@@itslikethesamebutdifferent8020 i wasnt talking about john. my bad should have been more specific. i meant people like keith richards etc. i am a HUGE fan of the beatles and was definitely not talking about john.
@@Justicia007 when I listen to Queen, I feel so connected. I feel they’re radiating love 💕 And I just enjoy listening Led Zep so so much. So bloodily good 👍
The reason why the Stones and The Who hated them because the Beatles had just broken up so they were expecting to be the next biggest band but these guy became the biggest band of the 70’s taking over from The Beatles
YOU NOTICE HOW SOME OF THE OLD FLOOZIES HAD LITTLE GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THE BOYS WHO POUNDED THE CRAP OUT OF THEM POPULARITY WISE AND ALBUM SALE WISE BUT MOST OF THE "MODERN" DAY GUYS AND BANDS WERE HEAVILY INFLUENCED BY THEM AND LOVED LZ !!!
Never heard of driving a car “to the wall”... can anyone give a precise definition? I tried looking this up on google. Not much of anything there. Anyone? Thanks
Members of The Who and The Stones poured scorn on Led Zeppelin and it’s understandable. When The Beatles broke up in 1970 Jagger and Richards , Townsend were all saying “now we get to be the biggest band on the planet “ but suddenly this not long formed band that created the blueprint for hard rock swept them both aside to be top dog alongside Pink Floyd as the two major bands of the early 70s.
Interesting how the old school spoke disparagingly of Zep. Jealousy? Felt threatened? Probably. Especially Townshend. Couldn't help but compare the two bands. Or the musicians. Entwistle and JPJ. Bonham and Moon. Daltrey and Plant. Those comparisons would be very close. But Townshend and Page.......no contest. And Pete knew it.
keith richards hasnt a clue what hes yappin about ! puts all the glory on page...it took all 4, and RIP Charlie Watts, but a Bohnam he B not ! Take another hit keith !! Pete Townshend has a gripe with Page and so did EVH...but do not reduce the severe impact Zep made as a BAND, can never be minimized !!
@@Sanctified57 Queen is simply better than Led Zeppelin. Mercury is better than screechy Plant. May is better than sloppy Page. Deacon is a better bassist than Jones. Bonham is better in some ways than Taylor, but Roger is far more versatile, plus he is an awesome singer.
@@clintonsmith5163 Queen we’re totally overrated. The only good thing about them was Freddie. As a band they are not even in the top ten bands of all time. To mention them in y the same breath as Led Zep is laughable. Plant was one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time, with a fantastic range and power. Page was far superior to May, it’s not even close. The multi instrumentalist JPJ was light years ahead of Deacon. Bonham was far superior to Queens tapper, Taylor. Simply put, Led Zeppelin were the greatest rock band of all time, and even Queens band members would say as much.
On another interview, Pete Townsend has said he’s never liked anything they’ve done? But they’re music is so diverse, I mean, nothing Pete? Not even Going to California? Then I remembered, Jimmy played on The Who’s ‘Can’t Explain’ and I realized oh, THAT explains it! Pete may not have ever gotten over that?! But yeah they suck, everything they ever did is bad. 🙄 To this day, still one of the biggest selling Acts in America.
Zeppelin are the greatest. There were so many great bands. It was an epic era in music that will never be seen again. It seems like when you see interviews with either Keith Richards or Pete Townshend that they have negative things to say. Alot is just jealousy. I loved the Who and the Stones but for me they had too many hit or miss albums. Especially the Stones in the 80's and 90's. Too much filler crap. The Beatles were epic obviously but nobody beats Zeppelin. The best musicianship. The best songs. The most influence on other bands that came later. Plus superior album sales. Especially to the Stones or the Who.
I bought Physical Graffiti in November of 1975. My Freshman year. In fact, I almost bought Physical Graffiti from a antique store but it was thrashed and they were asking $50.00 for it. Nope.
I love how all their contemporaries kind of dis them(envy and jealousy) where as the generations after them are all glowing and with good reason. Keith Richards isn't even in the same continent as Page when it comes to guitar. Bow down to Zep and give em' their DUE!!!! AWESOME ROCK BAND!!!!!
@@rick6582CNCMedicalParts that’s a good top 10. Hard to narrow the great “rock” players to just 10. It’s so subjective. My top 10 as with most people is influenced by my tastes. I lean towards the Southern Rock so my top 10 would have Duane Allman, Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks in there
@@NG-Lespaul your right but I grew up in 70s 75 .H.S graduated..saw just about every 70s band even zeppelin 3times garden 75 & 77 7th.row first time ..Aerosmith/ queen before famous stones who skynyrd 1 year before crash Allmans etc...
I don’t know if I’d say that jealousy and envy are why they dissed Zepp. It’s probably just competition. I’m sure Zepp did the same to their contemporaries. The Beatles and Zepp aren’t really contemporary to each other. And Queen was a hell of a lot better than Zepp.
