I'm truly grateful for this arrangement and the video animation. I haven't even played this game, never liked the other FF games I tried in the past. It just wasn't my flavor I guess. But 9 feels right from what little I know. This song and its lyrical version I find myself coming back to recently after discovering over a year ago. The melody, the existential air to it, and the lyrics hit me in ways difficult to put into words without getting longwinded. It invites you to dream of beautiful horizons when you genuinely thought you lost the ability to. Takes the extra step to comfort you that its okay to desire more than whatever you think the world so far can offer your. And that maybe you were here before, in another time, another place, and maybe why the song affects you in this way. It's faith for those who close their eyes, but its magic for those who dare to be open to taking the concept more seriously as if the sincerity of your existence depends on it.
@@LegendarySorcerer I forgot to ask, is there any way I can purchase this animated wallpaper off of you? I'd love to have it on my Wallpaper Engine. I'm referring to the first one.
@@esmerillia sorry for getting back late. no need for purchase! is there any way i can reach you? i couldn’t find any link on your profile. be happy to upload it on google drive and you can save it
Such a relaxing song, accompanied by an equally relaxing background. It's very calming to just watch the background change while listening. You did an incredible job with this!
My favorite soundtrack from my favorite game.. Now THIS is the best cover so far.. Damn tears drop when the cello's in.. Why don't you make this since years ago?
There was a project a few years back where a bunch of individual game devs got together and remade the first section of the game where you wander around as Vivi in Alexandria to showcase what a remake/remaster could be like and the nostalgia hit me like a brick and I almost cried. It was gorgeous and people from Square Enix took notice as well. Everyone's first FF always seems to be their most beloved and FF IX was mine. Edit: Found it for anyone interested ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BaMiPb6KiWo.html
Same here-IX was my first FF…I got it for Christmas in 2000, the year it came out. I had a blast with this game and fell in love with the soundtrack and characters. Needless to say I immediately searched out FF VII and VIII after finishing IX.
This wasn’t my first Final Fantasy but it was the game that made me a die-hard fan of the franchise for the rest of my life and it will always remain my favorite game of all-time.
FF9 isn't my favorite in the series, but when I was young it didn't quite capture my attention. Replaying it again recently and finally getting past disc 1 and beating it really made me appreciate it more than I would've back then. I have to say that this game is also one of the most frustrating as well, because I can feel how its vision was limited due to practicality. It was one of those games I wanted to be so much more than it was, because I liked what it did offer. The announced remake of FF9 actually has me hopeful in a way that I never thought I would, because it can remove the shackles of hardware and storage that limited it before. But it could just be a plain old remaster, rather than a thorough reimagining and expansion. The characters and aesthetic strongly resonated with me (besides Quina and Amarant of course), but their development, the overall story plot and the woefully unused world beyond the Mist Continent was a big sore point.
Chrono Cross memang ngga pernah gagal jadi mesin waktu yang membawa kita kembali merasakan kenangan kegembiraan, dan emosional dari masa masa kecil !!!
Listening to this gives me comfort and nostalgia. Love how you mixed these sounds here and I really like the electric piano(?) background that goes on and on, it's so cozy. Cello sounds realistic too!!
