We have them in Greece as well (Walckenaer's Huntsman Spider) I came across a nest once, and the female was not happy to see me.😅

The moonlight sonata playing is probably a more accurate portrayal of what a spider feels when it molts. They usually deliberately hide themselves away from stressors before they molt so they know they can take their time, and that its necessary to focus on freeing their new exoskeleton very carefully, as not to break it

I have severe arachnophobia but it always amazes me how spiders know how to build such beautiful webs. In this case it’s building and securing a home for itself!

I have arachnaphobia, but I like to see vids of tarantulas, i think this types of videos help me to be less scared of spiders. I have a question, why sometimes they molted upside down and sometimes, they molst like this one?
