For some that have trouble: 137 GB was standard ide max, extended to 1tb but was replaced by sata. Some older machines could not load large GB drives, due to bios, however X used to have software that bypassed these limitations. I have a old baby running a 1TB drive and a 512GB sd drive with Win 98 upgraded from win 95. Was going to give link for X but there are so many versions and most was drive oem specific so would need info, too hard. I hardly ever use YT since it's adds crazy, too frustrating.
@wamperth I know what you mean about the ads on youtube. It's crazy man. Anyhow RU-vid was the original. I appreciate the time you've taken for your comments. I'm just fixing up these computers to give them away so I'm not really going to much trouble. Thanks for your input. Have a great day bro
Hi, normally I no longer offer help or make help videos as it is not appreciated these days so this is a exception as you seem a nice person. There are two versions of this card, red and blue. Blue works way better is not as fussy. I imagine you did supply voltage to both the card and the drive, should of worked if sufficient current. If running sata to ide dont use twisted cable, ensure ide set to master. Now a better way is to buy a ide to sd or a sata to sd depending on what you want. They recommend 128gb max but I tested 512gb works fine. Don't think 1tb, they all scams even though they do exist they way too expensive $120+ for a genuine. Note we talking SD not SSD. SSD is another ball game.
@wamperth Hey thanks for your comment and your input. These computers I fix up and give away to people in the Philippines mostly students who are needy and can't afford to buy a computer . That's why I don't want to spend a lot of money on them to fix them up. I give them at least a 250 GB hard drive. Or maybe at 500 GB hard drive. They're not going to be using these computers like we do all they're going to be using it for a school work. I appreciate what's you've said

@@STAR-NUMBER100 Hello and greetings. Thanks for watching my videos and for your comments. Everyone keeps asking me where to get these Springs from. I did not buy these springs. I salvaged them from some bed frames that were thrown out in the garbage. As such they are recycled springs. The only suggestion I have if you're looking for this sort of Springs is to check out a hardware store or a mechanic shop. Thank you very much and have a great day

Bought My Pentax Me Super in late 70's or early 80's. Just loaded a B&W into it and it functions perfectly. I Have not used it for let's say in about 20 or 25 years. My digital Pentax lenses have the same red dots as earlier ones and the old K-lenses fit quite well to the new models, like K1 Mark II. This is good since some of the Pentax lenses are such a high quality lenses. The outstanding characteristic with ME Super was those two little buttons on top of the camera, which did show the right exposition metering for right shutter speed in viewfinder - which you were able to either accept or lower/press a bit by chancing the ASA by 1/4x to 4x stops. I just love my old Me Super, even though it is museum stuff, these days. It seems that the film era might still continue, after all. One of my pro-customers said me once: "Never sell your dark room equipment away, you will need it some day"... Yours Risto.

@RickyOcarina Hey, thanks for watching my videos and for your comments. Windows 98 is really ancient. I'm not sure if this setup will work with Windows 98. You'll have to do your own trial and error to see. Can you let me know if the motherboard can handle anything above that. Can you try to put Windows XP on it and then upgrade to Windows 7? Your 150 GB SATA hard drive is a good size for an older computer. Do you have access to Windows XP and Windows 7 installation discs? Let me know how you make out
Even on a snappy OS like Windows 7, it is painfully slow on such old hardware. I tried it with our Dimension 3000 in 2014 and ultimately ended up putting Windows XP back on it.
@SWMOWoodsman Yeah, I guess there's only so much you can expect from these old clunkers. But they did serve us well when we had only them to use. It's fun to work on them whenever I get the chance. Can't burn our old bridges. Thanks for watching. Good luck, and have a great day
@@GamingwithHitesh-gx4er Hello and greetings. A lot of people ask me where to buy these Springs from. I didn't buy these Springs I salvaged them from bed frames that were thrown out. I don't think you can get it from a sports shop. You might want to try a hardware store and see if they have something that would work with the dimension length diameter and stuff like that. Sorry I can't be of any more help to you. I wish they sold spare parts for these so people don't have to waste their money buying a brand new hand grip exerciser every time the spring broke. You know the only other thing I thought of that might work is what I told one of my other viewers. If you go to a mechanic shop the old cars have drum brakes they didn't have disc brakes like the cars have nowadays. Those drum brake assemblies had some Springs inside of them. If you can do your own experiment you can ask them for some of those things that were removed from the drum brake assembly and you can try to modify it for your hand grip exerciser. I've never had to do that myself so I really can't give you any advice on doing it. It's just something that came to my mind. Thanks for watching my videos and for your comment. Have a great day bro

Yeah, that's great. Gorilla tape, vinyl tape, duct tape. They're all good for the job. The thing is, with me, I like to recycle, reuse, refurbish, repurpose. I like to experiment. See different ways of doing stuff. When you said tubeless, are you talking about motorcycle tires and car tires? Or do they have tubeless bicycle tires nowadays? That's new for me
@@irfaanxlcr8370 I’m a big fan of experimenting and recycling too. Old tubes make great rubber bands! Tubeless bicycle tires have really blown up in popularity over the last few years. Started in mountain biking but has moved to road biking too. It cuts out a lot of the fear of flats and lets you run lower tire pressure
@@jimjohanson8152 Interesting stuff. I could understand how the guys feel if they're out in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire. Can't call AAA. Must be expensive though. Thanks for sharing
@@carlospaul9214 That's old school. Last century. Nowadays we have battery powered LED lights. Those old generators slow down the bike and the light is not a constant luminosity. It gets brighter and dimmer as you pedal.
@TomTerrific-vm3qg You're right about that. Vinyl tape is very flexible and easy to work with. A lot easier than what I did just now. But I like to experiment. The only thing I'm thinking about is after some time that vinyl tape will become sticky and gummy.
Hello and greetings. Thanks for watching my videos and for your comments. Disconnecting the CMOS battery and reconnecting it didn't do the trick at all. I tried to boot it up with a Windows 7 and then a Windows 10 USB flash drive. That didn't work either. Then, I tried an external USB CD/DVD reader with a Windows 7 disc. Strike out again. In the end, what I did was I cloned one of my laptops hard drive, and that's how I got it to work. Now, both of the T460s Notebooks work perfectly. I hope this was useful information for you.
