Hello, I am UltraNurture! I make gameplay videos that mostly specialize in mods, fan games, and unboxing videos although I'll sometimes play non-modded games as well. I was formerly a plush RU-vidr from 2011-2017 and you can still find some of my older plush content on my channel if you wish. I go by the username Mirno in any game I play. For Crusade you can either use Radmin or Parsec since I played Free For All matches, everyone in this video used Radmin but I heard Parsec can be a better experience for 1v1s. Also thank you for checking out and commenting on my videos!
@@AlphiePrime I haven’t tried out Parsec yet but I definitely will at some point. Since there were 5 players in the lobby it was easier to use Radmin, but for 1v1s I’ve heard Parsec is a better experience.
@@Sajo315 I can see that, I always liked Crusades presentation and some of the character choices are odd at first glance but they stand out and grow on people more and more. The ideas Crusades comes up with like 6 Player Smash and the Final Smash Meter both before the official games had these features is pretty cool. I’m glad the game is still in development after starting when Brawl was the newest official Smash game.
@@UltraNurtureit's the best forever, as far as we can tell. Romhacks are not fangames per se, so not counting stuff like PMRemix. Only Flash 2 is a serious opponent but it's pretty much done. We've been waiting for years for what's going to be a balance patch with a few retextures. Flash 2 will never get new characters and I'm expecting the next update to be the last. They're doing Fraymakers now. And no newcomer will pop out of nowhere and beat a 15 years old commitment project with other a thousand character mods, let alone stages, with and unexpectedly good balance. Even if a future project were to be better than Crusade at being a 2D recreation of Melee gameplay with its own feeling and roster, which is highly unlikely, the modding community will continue to be active for years, with newcomers everytime. Like that guy who made Scizor. Crusade is a masterpiece on its own but CMC is basically Super Smash Crusader MUGEN Crusadest, it's just not humanly possible to face it. Plus it keeps updating so whatever comes next, Crusade will already be better.
@@senesterium I agree with everything you’re saying. The Crusade Dev team seems committed to keep updating, improving, and adding onto Crusade for years to come. It’s truly an accomplishment that Crusade is still in development after a decade and a half. The Crusade modding scene is also huge and is great to see what they can come up with, I’ll definitely make a video one day on just Crusade mods as well with a huge and organized roster. But yeah I agree that Crusade is definitely the best Smash game!
Nice! I haven’t played the new update but I plan on it! Smash Crusade is one of my favorite Smash fan games alongside Smash Flash 2 and Super Smash Land. I’ve been playing CMC Plus which adds more characters so Smash Crusade it’s pretty cool!
I always like to check out Super Smash Bros fan games/mods and see what the many talented developers for these projects come up with! CMC Plus is definitely something I'll try to get back into at some point, Flash 2 and Smash Land are both good respectively too.
I sometimes imagine that the Luigi’s Mansion Beta Disc from Spceworld 2001 that Miyamoto held up on stage could still work with any GameCube consoles. Even though it probably wouldn’t but it would be cool if somehow that disc could be available with the whole Beta.
I'd say Sonic Unleashed is definitely worth giving a try, it's just a bit difficult since it doesn't have a PC port and modern console releases (besides Xbox backwards compatibility). The Unleashed Project is an older Sonic Generations mod that has seen many improvements over the years and the final result is practically identical to playing Sonic Unleashed itself!

@@nd6249 That’s true, I owned the Wii version as a kid and actually really enjoyed it. When I played it on the 360 years later it recreated that same magic I felt playing on Wii when it first came out! I’ll try to upload me playing through the rest of the daytime levels soon!
@@UltraNurture I would have liked to play the Wii version but I don't have it but I feel that it is just as magical as the Xbox 360 although I am looking for a Wii that someone has and play Sonic Unleashed
@@MSAJNreal When you open up the mod on Dolphin there’s a “Netplay” button at the top. You press that and you can either host or join a game with a code. Cool! I’ve never played the console versions of Sonic Generations. As a kid I only owned the 3DS version. I hope to pick up Sonic X Shadow Generations when it comes out
The 3DS version was also the only version I played for a good while. Until a few years ago where I played the console versions and it was as great as I had hoped! I’ll try and pick up Sonic X Shadow Generations as well!
@tubaraofluente nice! I'm excited to play it for the first time when the Sonic X Shadow comes out. I never had a ps3 or 360 so I never tried it. I do have steam but the steam version doesn't let you unlock Sonic 1 so I'm just waiting for the new version to come out
@@AlphiePrimei played the game on ps3 and sonic 1 is unlockable but as soon as u open it on ps3 the entire thimg crashes and the oy way to make it work is either press the button to turn it off or just take the plug out so it shuts down immediately
@@TheFrëakyCloud乂 I did some research and there's a few instances of people reporting crashes on the PS3 version of the game which is odd. Hopefully Sonic X Shadow Generations will have nothing like that.
If you mean the Beta mod becoming a full game instead of the limited rooms it has then I’m not sure. I would assume no since the playable Beta built had limited rooms so the mod wants to recreate it as best as possible, which would mean it wouldn’t contain the full game.
@@donjason7874 That is a good question. Original Ganon is using his moveset from Project M/Project + which changed some of his moves like his Neutral Special is now a Float/Reflector like in Ocarina of Time, every Tilt is different including his infamous Up Tilt, his Side Special is changed, and more. So Deathborn gets back the Warlock Punch Neutral Special, Flame Choke Side Special, and the Up Tilt that Ganondorf has in Smash Ultimate. Deathborn also has a different Forward Air, tilts, and Down Special (foot dive) that are unique to him. Hopefully I worded this in that it makes some sense, if you play each character you’ll be able to tell they have a lot more differences then what it seems like on the surface.

This is cool, I see they removed things that they thought would have made the game too hard like that purple ghost 👻 and the overheating mechanic. I would have liked the purple ghost to stay though.
@@MadMax-ii8gq Thanks! Those are things I noticed during playing was that they made the game a bit easier removing those two things. I think it would’ve been cool if the Purple Ghost stayed too.
In the description I credit the creators of this mod which are Portable Productions and they also have a Discord server which is how you can download this mod and others.
Unfortunately, I don't know if this mod can run on an actual GameCube. I think it's more likely to run on a Wii/Wii U but even those I don't know for sure. The over heating mechanic definitely is unique but I'm personally glad they removed it in the final game. Also thanks for the comment!
Wow, this is really interesting! I’ve seen Beta 64’s video covering all of this before and according to my knowledge it all seems very faithful to the SpaceWorld Demo. Appreciate you shinning light on this, and thank you the devs!

Great video but I would turn your voice audio up a bit and the game audio down a bit. I actually got it two days ago. There’s a + version but it doesn’t add much. Just a Diamond, gold bar, and dollar counter from what I’ve experienced with it.
Thank you for the advice! The truth is I didn't expect this video to get this many views and it was a "test" of sorts with a new mic that I had issues with while recording. So it came down to either uploading a video with my quiet voice or nothing and I choose the former. But once again I very much appreciate your comment and feedback!
Really makes me wonder how the plot progression was in this old version since it always seemed like there just wasn’t locks on any of the doors, could someone just walk to King Boo’s room and finish immediately?
How different the plot progression was early on is cool to think about. In this mod the door to the basement is locked so I'd imagine that's how it was in the beta build as well.
Interesting, I guess I also just wonder what the goal was, in the final game you’re following a set of paths for keys to more rooms, here there’s no path or guidance, you kind of just go in whatever direction you feel like, you can still light up the rooms, it almost makes me wonder if the progression was going to be more open or if reaching the basement had something to do with getting the lights on everywhere or if it would be some kind of puzzle to figure out how to get there.
@@Goat0423 I like all of your ideas! Luigi’s Mansion at its earliest prototype stages was a Nintendo 64 game so I wonder how many ideas on the plot progression still carried over to the final game. Luigi’s Mansion 2 changed things up in that department so I would imagine Nintendo certainly had multiple ideas while developing the first game.
It’s of course totally possible too that they just unlocked a bunch of doors for the show floor version and removed the linear progression just so people could get an idea of what’s in store, but who knows.
@@AnthonyGarza_drums420 Thank you! Unfortunately, I’m not aware if this mod is possible to play on a Wii. Any mod of a GameCube game I play is only on PC, so I’m not familiar with modded GameCube games running on a modded Wii.
@@UltraNurturelol yeah I mean if you have a file of the modded .iso (don’t quote me on this but) you should be able to play it through usb launcher. Or alternatively there is a way to modify it while using the live game disk which is cool!
@@matthewbob_moostachepants5563 Having a file of a modded ISO and running it through the USB Launcher sounds right to me. I’m not sure since I’ve never played modded GameCube games on real hardware but I have modded Wii and Wii U games on an actual Wii U.
Thanks! Luigi's Mansion was a game Nintendo showed a lot before release due to it being a launch title for the GameCube, so there was a lot of things that got changed!
Nice! I remember a channel called Chris and Sully played this hack. Don’t really see it much anymore since Kaze made a split screen version and the pc port has online, but this was cool at the time and brings a lot of nostalgia, I remember an older version had a 2nd Mario with the red star outfit instead of Luigi
I remember Chris and Sully too, I was a huge fan of that channel. I wish they kept up their videos but I do remember them playing this mod. The mod in this video is over a decade old and I'm aware of how far the modding scene for Mario 64 has advanced since then. It's really amazing to see what fans have been able to do with the game. The mod in this video is being played on a real Wii U so it was more convenient for me to make a video on it.
@joshharris6083 This is an older mod spanning back to 2012-2013 which is why Luigi has Mario’s voice. The Mario 64 modding community has advanced a lot since then.
I have the lighter pink one it’s so good but I have 5 controllers 2 first party controllers black and orange then 3 third party controllers pink and 2 black ones

This is a really cool video! I went to the Nintendo NYC store around 2018, I bought Rayman Legends, Kirby a star Allies, a Mario hat, and a Mario water bottle. I saw the Sonic popsicle at the end, I’ve had one and it tasted pretty good but the eyeballs were always in the wrong spot. Finally, Rest in piece Etika, still can’t believe he’s gone.
Thanks! 2018 must've been a great time to go as the Switch was in its second year, and those are nice products you got. I liked the Sonic Popsicle as well, I figured I put it in this video for it being video game related. As for Etika, he always spread positivity and his content from the Wii U era to the early Switch era were my favorite way to keep up with news. His community is still strong and he will always be remembered.
I apologize that I don’t believe I have the skills to make a good tutorial. I will say a RU-vidr named FunkyScott helped tremendously with how I figured most of my Wii U mods out so I highly recommend watching him. Thanks for the comment.
Since Mario Kart 8 is currently the latest entry in the series playing mods is a nice way to see what fans have come up with and made in this games beautiful looking engine.
Cool! I remember seeing a video on the Mario, Luigi, and Wario GC controllers when I was younger and thought they were really cool and wanted them. Sadly they’re pretty rare but at least the Mario themed Wii remotes are much easier to get
Thanks, I also saw a video on the Mario, Luigi and Wario controllers and could only dream of owning one. The controllers almost look third party with how rare and obscure they are. It's true that the Mario themed Wii Remotes are easier to get which is great as I love having different colored controllers, I have a Luigi Wii Remote.
@@AlphiePrime The Mario and Luigi ones are pretty cool. I also relate with wanting multiple Gamecube controllers even though I already have enough for a 4 player session. It's totally okay to start a collection as long as you have a passion and interest for what you collect for!

I recommend watching a RU-vidr called “FunkyScott47” as his videos of modding the Wii U are how I was able to mod mine. I’d watch his video before going through the process just to familiarize yourself with it but I promise he should provide everything you need to mod.
