I've created this channel to help everyone keep up to date with the ongoing rapid changes in the public cloud and for NetApp cloud.
For the last 20 years, I've been managing complex IT environments. In the last 5 years, I've been focusing on the public cloud and my day job is to help companies succeed in their journey in the hybrid multi clouds.
very good content. ps: recommend you speak to a public that is not english native (as me), I needed to review 2 o 3 times in order to catch everything.
Bit of mis-information there right at the end. 9.11.1 supports AFF-A200, 9.12 doesn't. Found this out yesterday when I tried to upgrade one of our clusters. Bummer. At least our primary A700 is still good.
It might have changed, thank you for bringing it to my attention. I would recommend to check the documentation for the latest information before committing any change
Saw the 9.12.1RC was released yesterday, and loaded that on a compatible system - but no luck yet with the larger file/vmdk sizes in vsphere - still max 15.81TB - latest Vsphere and vcentre. Anybody else tried this yet? (Using NFSv3)
It's better for the customer and for NetApp - The customer is getting what he really wants and NetApp doesn't waste resources for cool features no body will use
