Only watched the first six minutes which was very good. This was broken up with a further six minutes of advertisements not associated with TSOP. Whilst I appreciate the need for commercial advertising this was way over the top. I decided to abandon this video and go elsewhere for night photography tips. Update- I have read many positive reviews here and I have now signed up for a yearly membership with TSOP.
I have been comparing R100, R50, R10. One IMPORTANT difference for video recording is that these cameras have a limited maximum recording time for videos: R100: 30 min R50: 60min R10: 120min After that time the recording just stops. You can restart it though. So if you want to record e.g. a longer conversation you should consider these limits. Details can be found the Canon website.
thank you so much - my budget is tight but i really want to upgarde from my cheap zoom kit lense. i convinced myself that the 1.4 is saving up the money but now I'm sure the 1.8 is more than enough for me as hobby photographer 🤗 now i can spend the extra money on some basic gear! 💯
i've watched multiple videos, but i was indecisive. once i watched this video, I had a Clear and confident answer. i am getting a camera with a Crop Sensor!
Just curious, if you compare both lens but only use both lenses with focal length range of 24-70mm at F/4, will the result be more or less identical? I guess for those who doesn't need the extra stop down to F2.8, then 24-105 f/4 would work well.
Thank you for the video. Question? I have the canon r5 with rf50mm f1.2. The adapted ef 70 to 200 f2.8. I need a wider lens for videos. Would you suggest the 24-105?
Well done. I have both using Canon R6 Mark II. Lighting availability helps me decide which lens to mount (first). I use f/4, 24-105 for outside work (mostly). I use f/2.8. 24-70 for inside work (mostly). Can do professional quality work with either lens. Canon digital shooter for 20 years. Not a pro. Retired engineer. Photography gets me out of the house.
Hi Marc, I know this question is a bit off-topic for this video, but could you consider making a video about back-button focus, AF-ON, and AEL, and explaining what they're used for?
Sorry I forgot to mention, in PS I went to save the image under 'save as' but I couldn't choose PNG? I had to save it as a copy instead? Don't know what that's all about?
This was just the biscuit! Exactly what I needed to know on how to create and use a watermark from scratch, cheers!! The only bit you didn't cover was how to add the watermark to LR and edit it, but I'm sure people will work it out!
loved the format, presentation and general style. easy sub. i've only had a proper camera for a little over a month, but these comparisons make it substantially easier to know where to best spend the cash
in this kind of test the 24-70 f2,8 will win, no contest. but if u a journalist like me, in the situation u cant get any closer to the subject quite often, because the guard or the field that have barrier. that extra reach is very usefull. and you want travel lite because i certainly can visit 3-4 place a day, so i dont want 2 big lens 24-70 and 70-200 get in my way. and for the F4, i always bring my 430 speed lite if i think i need it, cuz this day camera ISO 12.800 is still useable for my journalist needs
Thank you so much for the hard work you have invested in this video and making using ND filters so easily understandable. I just need to get out and try out your guide. What are your thoughts on disabling image stabilisation when using a tripod, is it important or not?
As someone who’s trying to get into photography this video was the most helpful and I definitely know now what two cameras I wanna start with and down the line change to. Thank you 💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟
Do you think the Olympus is suitable for someone starting out whose been using a Nikon D3100 for a while now. About to sign up to some courses with you, great video, looking at M1 mk 3 for similar budget
@@theschoolofphotography the menu system does concern me a bit! Looks quite daunting for a newbie. EM1 mark 3 or a friend has the Lumix GX8 which they swear by and quite a lot cheaper
I have said nifty fifty, payed 110 quid for it new .. seeing that comparison I'm sticking with it , the more expensive lens doesn't give that much more for the money
