Reminds of the good times at vale lake in Winchester when it opened to the public a good friend of mine was able to secure a lot when it came up and was there for like the first 5 maybe 8 yrs. But the first yr . Was exactly like that we figured out the lake in a few months and we're hammering fish like that every weekend . Even a few girls who came and drop a line we get them on a 10 + before the end of the day there was this guide who would bring guys in from all over and put them on trophy fish and he would just bank ,and right there in the contract you were told not to scout out and bring in customers and this guy would be there nearly every day and sometimes twice with different guys even 3 on the boat and all he would do is spot for them and bankroll all the way home .
To be able to honestly say “that may be the biggest bass of my life” Is just incredible! I would have known as soon as it started fighting because my pb is only 6.5 lbs. Nice fish bro!
Most people will go there whole life without catching one 10 pounder dude catches three in one day I’d love to fish there imagine tournament fishing here
I am certainly glad that large bass like that exist. If it were not for the extreme technology then I guess that he might be like the average fisherman. It also appeared that most of the fish caught had eggs in them. They were on their beds trying to spawn. When bass are on the beds it puts the females at a disadvantage trying to protect against predators. I do thank him for releasing them so they could spawn. What happens when everyone starts using forward facing sonar and has never caught a lage bass like that. They will mount the fish and kill the further production of bass. Not everyone who fishes is a true sportsman. The money made by over fishing the bass so that it can be filmed and posted on social platforms to make money will be disastrous for the sport. The desire to catch a largemouth bass that would weigh more than 22 pounds and 4 ounces is a drug worse tha fentanyl.
Can anyone tell me exactly what lake this is? From Oklahoma and looking to go on the perfect smallmouth trip just once. Is it better than the St. Lawrence?
Wow Josh! I taught my oldest son to set the hook like that! LOL! We used to have bass like that at Percy Priest Lake in Nashville Tennessee back in the early 70s. I caught a 9.4lber largemouth many 7s, a lot of 5s, and my biggest smallmouth was 8.4 lber. Threw them all back, it was spring when I didn’t even know they spawned I was 19 yrs old back then, not any more, too many big tournaments for that small of a lake. Used to be nothing to catch 100 bass between me and by buddy before lunch! Glad to see you release them! You Da man saw you on Zaldains podcast, like your attitude! Keep the faith! I’m 69 years old and still try to set the hook like that! NOT! 👍🥸🙏
Make sure next video you tell everyone “ without this television on my boat I am incapable of doing any of this” grow up and learn to love fish and to look up every now and then otherwise your neck will be stuck looking down🤣🤣 rookies with some money thinking they’re doing something but in real life have no skill but act like they do
Don’t forget without livescope you’re trash at fishing😂😂 I doubled your amount of crappie in 1hour and half single pole jigging with nothing but a paddle and a John boat and they were ALL pigs and would’ve made those specks look like bluegill
Nobody cares about watching you watch tv all day, pick your chin up and use your knowledge on fish to catch them, or maybe you’re not capable to do the same thing without livescope🤷🏽♂️ it’s okay not everybody is good at really fishing
