Thanks for the video bro. Doing research myself... after a year with this sauna... hows the CRACKS due to expansion and contraction of the wood with the heat/humidity/winter etc??
can one easily install the benches at a higher level, say 36" off the floor in order to access the higher, hotter heat? how high of the sauna floor are the control knobs on the heater?
Hey I noticed you have the Rogue Rack in the background: Is that an RM-4? You also have the LT-1 50CAL Trolley? Is that the 2.0 with short OR Long Arms? Beautiful by the way!
I'm thinking about doing this too. My only thing I'm anxious about is setup? Like the ground what do I do there. And the electricity in guessing I'm going to bed to have electrician dig it underground to the backyard corner?
I dug out about 3 inches for gravel and placed the sauna base on patio blocks! Honestly that’s going to be the hardest part of the setup, definitely get some help with the digging!
That is stupid mistake from Harvia to do 1 hour timer like that. Typically in finland those have 4h+4h timer. Another problem is that the stove is too high. Of course in that case there might be limitations in space, but usually stoves highest point is at the same level as your feet.😄
Nice video! Just wanted to point out that you have the shoulder pads reversed. It will be more comfortable when the pads are angled correctly instead of inward, and the hack handles will be flared out instead of pinching into your head.
Just had ours delivered, have to do some work to landscaping first but very excited to get it built and going. I like your idea of just using 6 concrete blocks vs building a paver patio which was my first plan.
