Welcome the QueenPam's Adventures in Creativity. I love all things crafty. Currently, my love is art journaling and mix media. But I began this journey as a stamper and card maker. I have been a jewelry maker and will occasionally make a piece. Thanks for coming on this creative journey with me!
Congratulations on retirement! I love fall and your card was perfect! Cool book to write to share with your kids. I need to look up those bands. Congrats on your nieces accomplishment! We move back to Ohio after hubby retired (after 42 yrs in MF). Look forward to seeing your creations.
Hi Queen Pam, TFS your swatch book! Love all the *sparkly*ones. We moved last year and I destashed a lot I no longer use...but I still have my Twinkling H2Os!
All Hail the Swatching Queen, I bow before you :) I'm a swatcha-holic but my swatches are mostly all over in whatever journal I was working in at any given time. Your book is a true treasure! (Pat)
Looks like you have been having a good time shopping. Love your hauls. We purchased some of the same Tim Holtz items. I think the book will be a great keepsake for your family.
Love the cover. Nice way to use embossing folders. The journal is a great way to remember what you see at shows and to make sure you use, at least once, the things you buy there. Enjoy your long-awaited and well-earned retirement. What will you do with all of your newfound time?
Thanks fro watching. It does make me use the things I buy. I plan to be on YT more, maybe figure out how to go live and create with an audience or friends.
I have not needed a stencil since I got the 5 but depending on the thickness of the stencil material I don't see why it would not work. I have used heavy weight yupo on the cameo 4 so I'm sure the 5 would work. Thanks for watching.
He’s trying to dry himself? I’m sure he doesn’t like the cool sensation of the water evaporating. That or he liked his dirty self and will do anything to get back to that state.😂
You know I love those scissors! Where can I order them? Love seeing what your purchases are! Glad you had a great time. I was at Blick Art Supplies this am. Purchase a new market set and, of course, a book on coloring! lol
I agree wholeheartedly with what Pam mentioned. It was $45 well-spent. It was easy for me to devote the time because the location in Columbus is about an 1:15 minutes from my home. 2 days of Create It, Take Its. Even though same artists, you had different CITIs each day. Thus, I have some of the same CITIs Pam made and plus some different ones. The waiting was the hardest part at some vendor tables, mostly because they had more coloring, or more layering to their cards. I have added this event to my bucket list for 2025. I had hoped to sign-up for the offered specialized classes with artists (Gina K and Jennifer McGuire), but they sold out in a day. I saw the bags the attendees were given. Those bags were sweet!
Thanks for sharing and I’m glad you had a great time. I went with a friend couple of years ago (before covid) and loved it. Looks like you got some awesome products. And who doesnt want to do a make and take with Tim and Mario!
