Not enough people are talking about Dennis here. He absolutely is nailing the notes and blends so nicely. Most performances/videos I’ve seen, this is the weakest link in the trio- but not here!!! Amazing.
Adam is the King, no matter the style of music. I see him 5 or 10 years from now reviving musical classics on Broadway. I’m a fan since his Idol days. Never had and never will be a contestant as versatile or compelling as Adam. Thank you Adam for auditioning for the show. Your talent has made me longing for every new endeavor . Love You 4 Ever
What a spectacular stunning voice he has, I at 72 am a huge fan. I get goosebumps every time he sings! I can't wait to see him with Queen this October! What an amazing wonderful, beautiful, fantastic man! ❤
Thank you! (got any more?) and no, this isn't the RECORD he wants to make, but the reason he can do everything he does now is because he could do that then.
Always stops me in my tracks. In every way. Had the unique opportunity of singing in his 80th Birthday Concert-was a gift from the universe for an adoring fan.
"Not Getting Married" was a beast of a number. I tried Beth's speed but it wasn't sustainable. Ha! I took over the Amy role with two hours to adjust (our Amy had been in a automobile accident) so there was no time for blocking. Our director said, "you're a veteran, just do what you feel." The audience was aware of the recasting, but I was blown away when I received a two minute standing o when I finished the number. Memories...
Sho was hands down the BEST ACTRESS to play Elphaba. Yes, I give total respect to Idina for originating the role (and having what is the greatest chemistry for a B’way duo with Kristin Chenoweth) and singing it flawlessly. AND in terms of emotional honesty, Shoshana just took it to another level.
About 55 years ago I was in an amateur production of Brigadoon, where I met my late husband. I was Bonnie Jean and he was Charlie. I hope I don't sound disloyal when I say Adam Lambert's version of Come To Me, Bend To Me is unbeatable! Sheer perfection, and every time I hear it, I'm in tears.
Have always loved this song, & now I've heard the most perfect, stunning performance possible. . Thought I'd heard Adam's best already, but no, this is it. What an incredibly talented artist he is.
I can imagine him as the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera. He would sing it beautifully. However, Adam is so gorgeous it would take a lot of makeup & an excellent makeup artist to create a grotesque creature like the Phantom. Lol
