Thanks. I was a little disappointed I couldn't come up with a happier topic. Kinda like discussing airplane accidents- not nice to think about, but these things should be dealt with, rather than swept under the rug.
I’m closer to 70 than 60 and can still touch my toes. Not as quick as when I was a kid but can put my palms to the ground. Good suggestion on how to do. I tried it and I liked it. Remember to go slow and not over do.
This reminds me that I need to order new business cards. Mine are 15 years old, and although contact info is accurate, everything else is a history lesson.
A-10s all have a ladder up front...today they let them paint/individualize their planes inside the ladder door...Google "a-10 ladder art" I've always liked one from WW2 "Surprise attack"
I was going to mention the use of drones but I see someone mentioned it during the video. I will say crop dusting is a monthly thing here during the summer. Last time they were making their turns right over out house. Makes a person a little cautious about going outside when it comes to the pesticides used. About a month ago I seen the crop dusting on the side of the highway. It was hard to tell for sure but it almost looked like they were going under the power lines, but it seems to me more plausable they were going over the lines. With the angle they were coming down and the few trees on the side of the highway as we were driving, it was hard to tell for sure..... Any ideas on this G? That day there was two doing separate fields and I thought there might have been another further in the distance. I've been told its a very lucrative job. Annnnyway, see ya later.
Hey Jordan! Thanks for the comment! I've seen videos of people flying under power lines in South America, but not here. I'm pretty sure they don't do that, but I could be wrong. I wouldn't, that's for sure!
Andrew totally missed the rain we had yesterday. I almost had to go out in the rain to get the shop fan cooling off my chickens. Tell Andrew not to screw up again
mised the stream - regarding automobile stuff - not only are they not sending notices about driving licenses - they don't even bother sending renewal stickers for vehicle plates anymore where I live..
Hi Graham, I like this to offer a note when it comes to longer cross-country flights I never leave home without my urinary extraction/containment system. That’s a heck of a lot better than trying to pee in a jar.. although I must admit getting the aircraft trimmed out and then performing the function when the seat is back, makes for an interesting few minutes of flight while the procedure takes place .😳👍💤
I have thought long and hard about topics for your channel, Went to the ends of the earth, called the brightest minds. Nothing could be better than a pilot eats a banana though. This will go down in history as the topic of the year. Congrats. Side note, Havent watched yet
Hrench is cringing about a china adjustable wrench. But mostly plumbing, use a pipe wrench. Or basin wrench. That would've made my top-five. But I don't need the hair catcher...my hair is 3/8" long.. Btw old toilets are better than new because less gallons now, flush two times.
Thanks for the comment, hrench! I chose to not pick the pipe wrench because most noobs have to figure out righty-tighty still. And I agree with the old toilet thing. Give me a green or pink monster from 1972 any day!😁
Good trainer, makes good pilots. I flew a Cirrus just like a Tomahawk, perfect landing. Has to be flown onto the runway, not parachuted down like a Cessna 152.
Look at that Nasa test pilot video, even he said it was late to recover and not being flown over weight like they all are. Average folks fuel is about 5 gallon a side to keep in c of g.
Great advice Graham. I’m 30 looking for a promising careers for my family and I. Becoming a pilot at a time like this with the pilot shortage, couldn’t be at a better time to pursue this career.
So you didn't get into Bernoulli and newton...interestingly, today many people believe the standard teaching (Bernoulli) was wrong, has incorrect assumptions (molecules don't actually meet at the back, same speed not true). I first heard the Newton vs. Bernoulli controversy from "Fly with Magnar". Here's a link if you're curious. His explanation is pretty convincing. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uyRx25MSWng.htmlsi=TzUERxewQKT0GtY9
Cool video! Yeah. I've heard from other instructors that know a bit about aerodynamics that they teach new students about Bernoulli because it's easy and introduces the idea of pressure, temperature and speed. Helpful to describe carb ice. Even if the ground school mentioned Bernoulli in the curriculum, I never dwelled on it when it came to lift. Great comment, man!😁👍
I first heard of a NACA duct because my first car is a 72 mustang (still have). The Mach I has NACA ducts in the hood. Another funny thing about NACA is that the research was public, so Kurt tank of Focke wulf and willy Messerschmitt looked at all that stuff too.
