I vaguely remember another one of these commercials from *shudders* 2 decades ago where the I would guy was talking about how he wasn't out that late last night, just until about 5 or 6 in the morning. Don't remember what it was for, just that he didn't think staying out until sunrise was considered late.

I was trying to find one with at least one of those same characters (the guy om the right) where he's in a job interview and he answers his cell phone, and then phone rings a second time after that. That one made me laugh so hard as a kid. But I did stumble across this one while looking for the other one, so that ain't a bad start!
Do you remember the commercial with the same dudes. The young one roles in late. The older guy says " you out late ?" Younger guy says " no.......like 5 "
