Thank you for this video. I just discovered this game and eagerly awaiting my shipment. Thinking of making it a whole themed party night. With spooky sounds and candles etc. Roleplay. Hopefully everyone will love it but I'm very excited from watching this video. Looks like a blast with the right people.
For me it was also Settlers of Catan, Carcasonne and Ticket to ride that got me into the hobby. Although I don't play these games anymore, I do keep them as a souvenir/reminder of good old times :)
Thanks! It was with the Jasper board game table kickstarter. I don’t know that they sell it anymore unfortunately. It was boardgametables back then and I think it’s changed to Allplay now.

Is there negative scoring? My partner and I were trying to play and he immediately drew from the well and picked up 8. He didn’t have a score yet ? So is that -40 ?

So in a 2-player game: if someone can’t show but still has a scout chip, they can play it and not end the round - i.e. the it’s the next player’s turn? That doesn’t make sense. Because when I had only 1 card left, my opponent played a 4-card run… I only had one card in hand and a scout chip. I then play the scout chip, steal the lowest card in their run and now they have to beat it themselves??
If you can’t show, you have to use the scout chip and get the 2nd card in hand. You can’t end the game when you want to minimize your penalty at the end of the round.
The 2-Player-Game is totally unlogic and boring. One round takes around a maximum of 2 minutes. We played it with house-rules. 4 scout tokens ea. Then it's potentially a longer game.

Is it so that you turn over the tiles from the inspector one by one and after all are used you make new stacks? Which makes it that his possible moves are more predictable.
Thanks for the video! One question, if you reserve a pokemon just to get a masterball. And you use that to capture a different pokemon later, what will happen to the reserved pokemon?
@@thediceyreview oh. so it seems like you can do this to block certain evolutions from other players in case you have no intention to catch it and just get a masterball? since it will just be in your reserve. is this correct?
@@junelpagtakhan5740 you could use it like that yes, or you could just make sure you save one that you want to do so it doesn’t get stolen. You just can’t reserve one of the legendary/rare ones.
Thanks so much for the video and instructions!! I do have a question that I can’t seem to find an answer to. Can multiple players occupy a single Journal space at the same time? Or would journaling paths have to be different?

Thanks for the great video, Just a few questions. How many cards can you place down on your turn? Can I place a card in the mountain and my feild in the same turn? Can I place 2 or more of the same cards on top of eachother either in the field of the mountain in the same go?😃
@@user-ed5fs2sb2z maybe I misunderstood the question sorry. If you have a charmander and want to buy a charmeleon without evolving you absolutely can. If you evolve any Pokémon though you have to discard the original card under your character piece.
If you keep picking up tiles because you can’t find a match and say you end up with 10 tiles before finding a match. Are those 10 tiles added to your personal collection
Thank you so much for a great overview. My know it was a year ago that you made this but am I mistaken that throughout most of the game, you had too many cards for the hand size of Spider-Man? Maybe I’m missing something. (I am very new)
