These are a very popular product for us. We have had one fitted to our test vehicle for over 2 years now with no issues or signs of deterioration to the tape and sealer. If fitted correctly these will last the extent of the vehicles life.
No problem at all, do bare in mind that the Genuine LR Tow Loops can deteriorate and after time start to rust. So it is good to know how to replace them if needed
We would always advise our customers to drive within the posted speed limit for the road they are driving and the country they live in. However, these have undergone extensive testing with no issues if fitted correctly.
There will be a video releasing for this as there are extra steps that need to be taken to ensure correct fitment, as soon as it is live you should get a notification if you are subscribed.
I am just curious as to how well the adhesive holds that light pod in place, over an extended period of time. I live in an area where the temperatures drop below freezing for most of the winter, I just don't want this pod flying off while driving down the highway.
If the Light Pod is installed by a professional as we recommend, following the proper procedures in this video we would not see a reason for failure. We have sold many of these across the U.S. and Europe with no issues but we can always advise on extra steps to take when purchased through ourselves.
At the moment these are supplied with the bluetooth remote button. We are currently working on a couple of switch ideas to integrate into the Defender.
Unfortunately we don't at the moment, however we are developing parts to work with the commercial bulkhead. So keep an eye on our website or join our mailing list for ongoing updates
**PLEASE NOTE** When you are at the stage of mounting the side step brackets, be sure to note the location of each. inspection of each bracket will show the orientation regarding front, rear, left and right.
Thanks, we believe this is the best way to have the desired outcome. The problem with using a spray shop is time, having to leave your vehicle with them or removing the parts yourself then having your vehicle off the road for a certain amount of time could be a large inconvenience.
Hi there, If you are careful not to turn the ignition on whilst the bumper is removed it will work fine once back together. If it is a worry for you, disconnecting the battery will help prevent any issues but we have not had the issue as of yet.
Yes, as long as the battery is disconnected before starting. We only replaced the steering wheel (which kept the heating element with plug) but swapped the switches into the Gloss Black trim rather than the factory off white part.
