I hope this is what's wrong with mine. I'll dig in and see this week! Thanks for the detailed video! What oil are you running in yours? Great music too...😁
Hey bud, did the two little plates supposed to be attached to the big metal plates? Because mine are loose and the one that goes upside down cannot hold the little plate, I'm not sure how they work. I got them in the same order, put them together, and the pressure built slowly and only goes like 60psi not more.
I can't recall but I don't think the plates should be loose. I did make a gasket to seal. If you put your hand by the head and feel air blowing, I would replace or make a gasket.
i had a new one boguht one ahrdly used it but it was ticking noise in my pumo took 2 me two try before i had i got it working but do suggest when u are rebuilding these air compressors use some die eletric grease
Thanks for the video. I just bought the same compressor for very little money and in noticed air blowing all over the outside of the cylinder near the head, like you mentioned. Mine still builds pressure, but it’s leaking around the head some. I’ll need to tackle this job. Do you know what you torqued the head bolts down to? I found one spec online that said 88 inch pounds.
