HED-GP brought so many memories to me damn. I used to live in Curse (i know hed is not in curse, we used to roam there too) with my corp, we ruled the whole region while we where there, it was so much fun 😞 edit: it was many years ago...... I now made the mistake to "take a look at some eve videos to see how it looks nowadays" and now i'm getting a lot of recommended videos and I miss the old times
Perfect timing, I am just going through the application process to move to a small corp in your alliance and packing up my HS stuff.... was looking to get started with ratting and here it is. I can fly carriers but not enough money for one. so have max drone skills. Can I ask though. Why the tech 1 drones and mods? does it make much difference/sense to upgrade both or either to tech 2's? Can you do Sanctums in this? Thx
Hey Wenyi, yer i agree i dont like the 8/10 but i still do a few i want to work on a good way to blitz the last room. Might try a smart bomb variation on my golem not sure.

Hey Tiki, there is always risk that a player will show up and scan me down. i always am watching the local and dscan. If there are neuts in system and I see combat scanner probes on dscan I just leave the site, had to bail from a 10/10 today because Sigma scanned down the site while I was in it ;[.
Hey Kelt, i personally dont loot but if you wanted it can be done very effectively if you drop a mobile tracker unit and colloct it once it done. The main reson i dont use them is if neuts come in to the system they very offten kill them for the kill mail.
Thanks for the video. Coincidentally I just made a Vexor and started using drones for the first time, but I learned some useful stuff from this about how to better fit it out. But I must be doing something wrong, when I drop my drones into space they don't automatically fly to the targets, I have to press F on each target. Is there another setting that I need to turn on?
Hey David, Great name btw! there is a box to tick to make your drones auto attack but they will only attack if your being red boxed by the target. in the drone window once you have launched your drones if you see the bar that says "Drones in space" there is a cog wheel you can left click and then tick "auto attack" i would also suggest to have "focus fire" ticked if not already. Not that it matters since your tank is enough for the last room, but couldnt you also bookmark the wreck and warp to that location some time (Think its 5 or 10 minutes) later when the npc's despawn?
Hey kane, some thing stay the same but a lot has changed as well. Ess coming in to the game was a great new addition for some PVP and solo or group isk stealing opportunities.
Hey SmellmyKKPP, the drone are auto attacking but there are times you need to change target depending on if your being web/pointed or even worse target painted by rats. The module simply will auto target any target that is targeting you, which really is only for the purpose of you not needing to target the rats.
Hey , you sound an awful lot like Grimro from the PoE community. Either way , I'm glad you found something to enjoy and share with us. I've also been looking for a modern space MMORPG and wasn't able to decide which one since I wasn't sure about how much complexity I want it to have. I guess I'll settle for watching some brave souls share their experience online for now. Take care friend ;-)
Hey Pierre, thanks for the comment. im not Grimro haha, Eve online has many different things to do and is defiantly rewarding once you have invested time to training the skills and understand the mechanics.
I just started this today, at this point of development v24 I find the game counter intuitive. That goes for pretty much every aspect of the game I've tried so far. I really hope they clean that up because that leaves new players with a terrible first impression. I guess I will be watching videos for quite a while. I do realize it's very early and I thought I was somewhat prepared for it, but nope not even remotely close. In fact most of the time I tend to push through before turning to help online. Not even going to try with this because I'm that as I'm bewildered on every aspect beyond WASD and looking around.
