I definitely relate to the YT addiction even though Ive been off social media for years, somehow learning things seems to justify it in my head. But I am curious what I might be avoiding or missing out on without it... so I'm going to do this challenge too!

Such a beautiful reflection from such a beautiful soul ◡̈ I see you have Journey of Souls, maybe you'd enjoy the work of Ainslie MacLeod as well if you aren't already familiar. I have been diving into his work about past lives and soul ages and types, and the fears we bring into our current incarnations from previous ones. He says all of our fears come from past lives and we can release them just by acknowledging where they came from and reminding our soul that "that was then and this is now." Releasing the fears help us advance on our soul mission and not have to keep reincarnating to work on the same issues. Anyway, thanks for your video and reflection, I've also been fascinated by and experimenting with surrender. It's been a ride!

When I say I am happy, I do feel happy and feel it in my body. When I feel it without saying it, yes that is a different experience, maybe a bit more amplified, but similar.
Thanks for sharing your experience, a lot of the subconscious brain is filled with thoughts we pick up on from childhood and the brain remembers negative thoughts more, at least mine does lol so now i've been practicing tuning into my body more than the mind, feels better and I've realized thoughts are just that thoughts, you don't have to believe them. I like that you pointed out it helps to speak and journal thoughts, that way you're still processing your experiences and letting them go instead of holding on to them. I've been doing a daily check in too and recording my thoughts. Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts and choosing to help those around you. I'm guessing this is what life presented to you at this moment 😉hehe

Exactly the same. Its deeply affected my life away from anything anyone would consider "normal". Man, I just want to be happy and at peace. I'm 35 and have spent most of my life single because while I'd love a relationship, my peace and happiness shatters within weeks. All the sudden it seems like whoever I am with loses independent thought or function without me, depending on me to decide things like what WE are eating. Fuck I don't care, I'll eat what I want, if you don't want THAT, eat what you want. You'd think that traffic would run smoother with this "base desire" everyone seems to have. You'd think the desire would be for traffic to flow smoothly, instead it appears to be "no, ME FIRST". Pathetic. Glad I don't behave that way.

Hi! 21 years old guy here. I have no idea how youtube recommended your video, but I'm glad! It was very thought provoking, I sent one like right away, wish I could send multiple! :D I had this problem of social insecurity a long ago and I remember that all I did was changing some habits, trying out new hobbies and changing how I see myself, because you can't change others + you can only really change so much about yourself, beacuse you can constantly fool yourself. (very well said in the video) AND just because you "changed", you will still have to face the same difficult situations in life sometimes. I think it really is about true self love, like when you are your best friend, like when you love your own very weird habits and stuff, BUT you can properly judge your weaknesses. Really liked the video, I wish your youtube career will help you love yourself more! ; )

Hey Jamie, I am also a 20 year old girl, studying environmental science and am also coming to realisation that one needs to heal their mind before taking actions regarding external life (friends, university careers). At the end of the day you will always be you, so if you love yourself you will be at peace. This is such early 20s core. Also you're gorgeous.

It's nice to see new faces on the platform following their own path like you said "make the type of content you want to see." Ive been journaling now since around 2019 and its always fun to see someone else doing that same hobby. If you need some ideas for some future content, I would love to see some journaling exercises that you do. I hope RU-vid goes well for you. I will be here for the journey 👍
