Thank You for your video. I have a question. How do you redeem your attraction tickets for the VP Enjoy Attractions EVEN MORE. These are suppose to be unlimited, is there just a ticket we show? Thank you
Thanks for watching the video! When you book a VP, you will receive a folder at check-in with cardstock paper tickets and vouchers. They’re all printed on the same page(s) and you separate them by pulling them apart on the dotted lines. For the FS Magic pass, you will show the ticket at the entrance to FS and they will give you a wristband either at the entrance or at the first FS attraction you visit (depending on how busy the entrance is is my guess). To ride each FS attraction, you have to show both your ticket and the wristband at the priority entrance for each attraction. So save the ticket since you will reuse it throughout the day. There will be a separate ticket for the special unlimited attraction pass that you can use to ride attractions in both DL and DS parks via the priority access line. You will present that ticket at each attraction and reuse it at each attraction since it’s unlimited. Unless, they have changed the tickets, note that these are thicker paper tickets about the size of credit cards/business cards, so try to bring a pouch of some sort to keep them from getting damaged or wet since you will be using them often. The drinks ticket is unlimited as well and after 2 days of use they were looking pretty rough, but survived. :-)
😀 Mine too! I cannot guarantee this will be your experience, but when we visited, we were helped by 2 maids. The first maid knew enough English to have a basic conversation with us, take our orders, explain the process, etc. The second maid was in training learning English and she had printed cards with phrases in Japanese and English. She did her best and we did our best to make her feel at ease so that she felt comfortable speaking English with us. So we managed just fine and we didn't have to speak Japanese at all. At the very least, if they can't pronounce something, I'm sure they'll point you to the card to relay what they need to tell you or even use apps to translate. Gambatte!
Thank you for this video. There are many opinions out there, but I want the nuts and bolts of costs and convenience. You presented it well. My family hopes to spend 10-12 days in Japan. Three at Disneyland/Sea.
@@scrap.catastrophe Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it. When we were planning our trips, I wanted just the information and perhaps pros and cons, so I try to present it that way and let the viewer make the decision. Enjoy your trip! Japan is beautiful and so are the parks.
If i book the vacation package would i still have to buy the one day pass or is it included in the package? And what about check in and check out times, is it normal hotel hours or am i allowed to stay longer on the second day?
Hi! With this Fantasy Springs vacation package, the one day Fantasy Springs Magic pass is included and you can use it on the day specified (the day designated for DisneySea) since the area is inside the DisneySea park. The onsite hotels checkin time is 3 pm and checkout time is noon (12 pm). If you want to stay at the hotel longer, you can probably ask the hotel to see if they offer late checkout, but if you're just going to the park, you can leave your luggage at the hotel bell desk on your checkout day, go to the park, and then return to retrieve your luggage later on. They will absolutely do that! There are also coin lockers at the monorail stations that can fit large luggage if you rather do that. They're about 700-800 yen.
3:27 I just got this exact email, and all I have to do is show the email to whoever is at the Kirby Cafe to get in right? (I also mistakenly put my English name twice instead of translated it to Japanese so I hope that's okay as well)
@@SNESFan43 Cool, you got the reservation! Yes, you can just show the email with your name and reservation number to the person at the entrance. About the name, no worries, as long as you got the email you’re good. That’s actually good that they allowed it like that, in the past some people had trouble continuing without translating the name. That makes things a lot more simple. Have fun at the cafe, it’s super cute!
Oh, you're right! That's too bad that they don't allow reservations for one person. But if you still want to visit that one, try going early for lunch when they first open or early dinner like 2-3 pm and hopefully the wait is not too long. They have another location more visible in Akihabara, so maybe this location doesn't get as crowded. If not, try Maidreamin or Maid Made, they both accept reservations for one person. Have fun in Japan!
Aquariums are not liked by everyone. With that said, if you're referring to the coloring in the video, part of it was the lighting in the place. The day we visited, everything looked clean and well maintained. Thanks for watching!
great vid and useful. question on the rides in fantasy spring, is there a normal standy queue and a DPA queue for each ride? i notice you can buy dpa for peter pan, frozen and rapunzel but there isnt a DPA for tinkerbell? my undersatnd is that the vacation package will allow you to use the DPA line but since there isnt one for tinkerbell, you will have to queue up like the rest of the crowd who gets a standby pass? also separately, wanted to ask if i cannot find a reservation slot at the fantasy springs restaurants, could i walk in? or simply its not available and i will have to dine elsewhere? thanks a lot!
Yes, there is a standby queue and a priority (DPA) queue for each ride in Fantasy Springs, except for Tinker Bell, which only has a standby queue. The Fantasy Springs passport included in the Vacation Package allows you to ride Peter Pan, Rapunzel, and Frozen through the priority queue and Tinker Bell through the standby queue, but no worries since access to Fantasy Springs is restricted and the standby line for Tinker Bell was about 5-15 minutes at the most. If you're talking about the restaurant at the Fantasy Springs Hotel, I would say that your chances of dining there are very slim if you don't have a reservation or staying at the hotel since you cannot venture into the hotel unless you're staying there. But if you're talking about the restaurants in the Fantasy Springs area, no need to worry since those do not take reservations. The restaurants in the area are quick service and you can even use mobile order, which might be required at busy times. We were able to eat at 2 of the Fantasy Springs restaurants without problems. We didn't try to eat at the one in Frozen, only went in for drinks, but that one seemed to have a little more of a wait time.
This was actually very helpful and resourceful 😮 thank you!!! Recommend watching ! Quick question My wife and I are planning on going to Tokyo Disney April 2025, so when they say “Fantasy Springs” they mean DisneySea correct ? Like if you buy a vacation package you get a ticket to Disneyland and Disney Sea “Fantasy springs! And thank you👌🏻😊
@@Robles2891 Glad it was helpful! Yes, the Fantasy Springs Magic pass gives you access to DisneySea, so you’re getting a ticket to Disneyland and a ticket to DisneySea. The difference between the Fantasy Springs pass and a regular DisneySea ticket is that you get unlimited access to the Fantasy Springs area and the rides in the area. You can even leave the area and return. With a regular ticket to DisneySea you cannot enter the Fantasy Springs area at all for now, even though it’s inside the park, because it is so new and they’re limiting access to it. The only way to enter Fantasy Springs would be to get a standby (free) or premier (paid) pass once you’re inside DisneySea. Those passes run out fast, are for one ride only, you can only get one at a time, and once you leave Fantasy Springs you cannot re-enter.
This video was SO HELPFUL!!! Thank you so much for the detailed breakdown. I'm planning our first trip and this answered a lot of my questions. Time to watch more of your Japan videos to help me make a hotel decision! 😁
@@claytonica23 How fun, your first trip! I'm glad the video was helpful. I will be releasing another video soon about planning a trip with the goal of visiting the Tokyo Disney parks. Hopefully you'll find more tips there as well.
