It hurts that Yamamoto was a thief. Because instrumentally speaking; the Kai soundtrack is probably the most evocative and bombastic score the series has had since Kikuchi. I know he didn’t steal all of his songs, but the unstolen ones feel dragged down a bit by his actions

Yamamoto plagerised the hell out of it BUT its imo the best Dragon Ball soundtrack ever. Even better than the original Kikuchi music. The vibee just screams Dragon Ball to me. Its perfection.
