I get some people like mechanical keyboard, but jesus either put your microphone a bit away or use some sort of noise cancellation when talking in voice chat, I don't wanna hear you typing 80%, it's annoying.
i remember when mechanical keyboard first hit the scene, there was always some annoying dick in voice chat with one lol personally ive never seen the appeal & find them to be extremely overrated
They are overrated. The mech keyboard community is also ridiculous, and I find it funny to read them mocking fully featured keyboards for being too large and gaudy while simultaneously praising keyboards that are actually missing any number key larger than 6 (which is a very stupid mech keyboard build currently being upvoted on /r/mechanicalkeyboards). I do daily a G.Skill KM780 mx red but it's because it has literally everything I want in a keyboard and not because it's a mech (quick macro keys, onboard memory, full media keys, volume scroll, built like a tank etc.). I'd honestly prefer if it was membrane, because I hit the same 110-115WPM regardless if it's a low profile membrane or a loud ass mech.
Me: *uses mechanical keyboard for almost 1 year* Me: am bored. Hmmmm *randomly found my first keyboard* Me: ooooo lemme try wat it feels like *tries it* WTH IS THIS IT FEELS SOOO WEIRD THIS SOUND EFFECT IS SOOOOO BADDDDDDD
The mechanical keyboard community in 2021: Well, Cherries WERE the gold standard. Are your switches and stabs loobed? Are those pings and rattles I hear? Not enough thoccs!
I like how this video is the opposite for me , first part is me after getting the mechanical keyboard ( it's my first one ) and second part is me before :')
