@chuckycheeeese it depends what other features you have. It may be expensive to add it off you don't have everything. The trx just happens to have everything parts wise you need except the button. So it's a $50 add on.
@@vfr800fi07 fair enough. I get my truck back after this 3.92 swap used ur videos as reference. I'm on a 8 inch lift on 37s. I'll have to test it out see how I feel. I wanted a Whipple
@Touchedbyapriest I'm not against screw type blowers ..i actually like them more. But taking off in the truck feels good off the line..just no top end power to me. I figured it would also be softer on parts..less torque down low
@michaelgordon2031 yes I had to take the coils out to pull the cover. It was waaaaaaay easier than the valve cover job.. the only pain is the egr valve
@@vfr800fi07 that’s why I’m going LS3 tbh. People complain about it but my z06 had THREE LS7s drop a valve so I don’t see how throwing another one in makes any sense lol. Gonna do an LS3 with an LS9 cam and a boost district LSA supercharger kit and call it good😁👍🏼
Thank you for the video. Does the intake add a little more sound to the engine? I plan on getting the Mopar cat back and was wondering how it would sound with the air intake.
Thanks for sharing! I've had these skirts for about a year, been slow to put them on. I plan to install stainless steel jack nuts on the rocker panels so that the side skirts can be removable. I don't plan on using double sided tape, maybe weather stripping attached to the side skirts. I also plan a similar setup for the front carbon splitter in case it needs to be removed for repairs.
Hey man that part you didnt use do you mind sharing the part number i damaged my grill in an accident and that part you took off i just cant seem to find that specific part you took off and put to the side
Well buddy I'm da process off getting one n most of them dnt come with tht kit n I like ur passion 4 what u are doing so we gotta link up n do business I'm close 2 u up NE lake n Muskegon Michigan
Hi, great video. I'm considering the Sport Hood swap as well from a Big Horn. How was the swap of the Silencer pad and/or insulation pad? Was it compatible?
12 years later and i still haven't put one together but still plan to, got it all except pistons. If you still have this in your sons car, would you make a new video. It still peaks my interest.
I don't still have it.. but its.a decent motor. Engine output was more than the 5.7L version. I ended up selling the camaro and it went into a C4 corvette
thanks man! I was looking for a video like this on the AC Wing. The factory carbon options are CRAZY expensive, on an already inflated car. I may pull the trigger on the Blackwing and get this spoiler to set it off if I decide to skip that package.
As it turns out. you can only buy the strut part # 580-1044. Ill have to have the shock mounted to the strut. Ill show your video to my mechanic. Time for me to watch this one out. The backs were simple. Thanks again for the complete video here! You rock! Your car is Off The Hook!!!! Bitchen Ride!!!!
My 2009 V leaks at the oil pan. Is that impossible to fix? labor must be 20 hrs for a job like that. Thanks for the info on the Struts. Your videos ROCK! Ben
@benleone5800 you can get to all the bolts for the oil pan.. the only issue is how far it will drop down..I had the bolts out to do the camshaft. Amd dropped the front of the pan so I could pull the oil pump. Since the pick up tube bolt is hard to get at.
Waiting on Corsa to ship my catback for my CT5BW, I went with the carbon fiber tips so it's taking a bit. Going to self-install it so this video was very helpful! Thanks!
@MrSully350 thanks again!!. This sounds awesome.. video doesn't really do justice on volume.. but it is LOUD.. but quiet mode is VERY quiet.. you won't be disappointed.
@MrSully350 thank you!! no problem.. this piece is of excellent quality.. the owner is wanting to do a front splitter soon. So we'll be doing that as well
@@vfr800fi07 I was on the edge with Anderson Carbon pieces; as they do state they do not apply a UV clear coat on their pieces. Unless you get it sprayed with a UV clear or PPF, and live in a sunny place, the CF coating it going to breakdown. That said, the piece does look great though!
Great video, thanks for sharing. Does the suspension have to be unloaded to do this install? I have a 4-post lift and would need to raise the car up off the lift tracks if so.
@mr2dsp yeah the front has a lot more involved to change it. If it wasn't extensive I would have done that too.. but possible warranty issues were brought up if you change it.
@@vfr800fi07 I had a problem with my right rear Inverter last time they replaced it under warranty and no issues on the rear UP stabiliser bar so far they did not give me issue thanks
The wheels were brand new take offs from another car. The car already had the updated steering wheel with the normal air bag horn. But it is something that can just be activated in the computer with tesla software.
Just installed mine. It's not the easiest thing to do for me, but I really love my car now, it's a lot safer to drive, specially, the stalks are now always at the fingertips. You don't have to take your eyes off the road to find the controls while turning! Your vid was super helpful! Thanks a lot!!
Maybe I need to hear one in person but I can't tell much of a difference. I use to have a Camaro Zl1-1le and I went with a same set up and there was a noticeable difference but on the BW I can't tell. Either way sounds great.
