@@szpsubzero11 well, shows how old school I am.. not sure who that is. lol I appreciate the kind words. Also, maybe I’ll alter the title to Logic Pro 😁
@@ianinindy1165 I totally understand that. I’m a songwriter and had bands in Austin. I had to be able to tell them the chords of my songs :) I just learned some new to me chords today that blew my mind :)
@@LisaMarshallMusic4 Apple has now made ATMOS part of Logic. They have a project/template to help understand the basics. In a nutshell: it views every sound as an object that can be placed anywhere in a 3d space that can (mostly) be replicated In headphones. Definitely changes the approach to mixing a song! Most of the streaming services do not support it except Apple, Tidal, and Amazon. Having said all that, I had some songs mixed in ATMOS and was kind of underwhelmed but I’m willing to keep experimenting!
I've loved this song from the first time I heard it, I think it was one of her live gigs at "Zag's" (sic) but it was definitely on her Simple Album. Such a fantastic voice that really shows her soul and her heart. Keep on keeping on, Sister Lisa.
This song popped up on my page ten years ago, and I liked it right away. I have a sharp ear for quality music, and this is one such. I am surprised such a beautiful song hasn't hit 1M views yet, what do people listen to? Thanks Lisa.
Wonderful cover really well revisited with your own style and touch. Much inspired and talented. Brighting interpretation. Vocal and instrumental. Full of poetry and tenderness. Excellent guitar player and singer with a lot of feeling and sense of groove. A real peaceful and relaxing pleasure to listen. Good for the mind and the soul. Big big big like for this fantastic touching perform and brilliant sharing. Splendid and luminous.
Dear Lisa thank you very very much!!! You totally opened my eyes. Carolyn"s unintended message might have been EXACTLY what you wrote. It makes sense NOW. She was saying (correct me if I'm wrong) but with her incandescent relationship she may be crying out for love unconditional for a woman who decided instead to follow society norms and married a man. In which case, Carolyn's cries (lyrics) are about being left unfulfilled emotionally because her female lover doesn't possess the same passion she possesses to say the hell with what anybody thinks "It's me and you, Baby!!!" And even though they could not express this passion publicly Carolyn was mourning the fact that by marrying a man her lover was essentially saying "Goodbye" to their love. Hence I can't love you if you want let me!!!! Did I nail what you wrote??? Please educate me!!! Thank you in advance!!!!
