It was actually a very positive experience: they served me not only rice with chicken but also a very good pasta with cream of zucchini and bacon. Also for a 6 hour flight not all airlines give you an amenity kit and a blanket. There was a huge selection of movies and good cameras to look outside. The seats were very comfortable and it had a good recline. The crew was kind and friendly throughout the flight. I don't agree with you in saying that it was an average experience.
The 3 Qantas A380s that were parked are being pulled out of storage (during covid - 19) and getting cabin refurbishments....video fantastico e ottimo contenuto...voglio tornare a casa
1:20 Flying to Kayseri (ASR) is not the fastest/easiest way to reach Cappadocia. You could've flown to Nevsehir Cappadocia Airport (NAV) which takes 35-40 mins to the most touristic places by car. (I am from Cappadocia)
Came back yesterday from that trip, lower deck. Unfortunately, not again. The multimedia was broken for the whole row, the crew was very unpleasant, or far from being friendly.
Always nice flights from Milan to Beijing with Air China, I did that same trip several times now. A350-900 is simply amazing, both premium eco and business class are pretty nice (not at same level of Singapore airlines, Emirates etc of course, but good enough). Crew nice, and not too much “invasive” with noises and services. From point A to point B a good experience, nothing more nothing less. A major adv: Air China is one of the few flying over Russia now and this saves a lot of time. Lat but not least: Air China call center is efficient
My impression of Air China is the same as yours. Of course we are still talking about the A350-900, because if you fly on an old A330-300 the impression can change
In the personal opinion of an economic traveler who has traveled to Milan Shanghai every three weeks for 6 months with both Emirates and Air China is that Airbus is much better, quieter, with more spacious toilets, newer interiors and better air. The seats and the space are generous. On Emirates they now use Boing 787 which is very uncomfortable and with very old screens. In addition, I think that the Chinese staff is punctual in enforcing the order on board, serves water more frequently and in general gives me a greater sense of attention, even in helping with the luggage. I live in Shanghai and I often go there. If I'm not in Milan.
Greetings from Scotland. The name of the lake in your video is Lake Palas Tuzla (Turkish: Palas Tuzla Gölü) which is a saline lake in Kayseri Province, central Turkey. It is a registered natural protected area. Did you buy any rugs while you were there?... I believe you can sometimes find small silk prayer mats. Nice videography as always.
Imo one of the best european airlines on short haul. Flew last year with my friends cause we needed vacation on their a330 and the service was crazy. We even had warm meals, desert and also free ife. Can recommend it on intereuropean flights to and from turkey. Also nice flight review 🙃 Greetings from Germany <3
7:42, Wow that's super rare to see a Airbus A380 takeoff on runway 1R, no way. Even Lufthansa queen of the skies also takeoff on runway 1R, wow I never seen that before.
Is your flight to London 75% full, is that your 1st time flying British, Airbus A380, how's the flight and do you remember how much you pay to fly British airways?
My flight to London was almost full! Yeah it was my first time onboard British Airways A380. I paid around 470$ for this itinerary: MXP-JFK-SFO-LHR-MXP
I think Emirates planes are better than Turkish's old planes like the B777-300ER and the A330-200/300. On the other hand, Turkish A350-900 and B787-9 are better than Emirates. In terms of services, in my opinion, they are on par. Furthermore, in Turkish's business class, you often find a meal service brought directly by a chef. In economy, Turkish's beauty kit is unbeatable. If you have to choose between an Emirates B777 and an A350 or a Turkish B787, I recommend TK. However, if you want to fly on Emirates' A380, it is also an amazing experience.
If you are interested I just posted a video of a medium haul flight on Turkish A350-900. You certainly won't see the amenities of a long haul flight (blanket, high quality headphones, beauty kit) but I can tell you that the interiors are fantastic and the meal was very tasty
very nice vlog! I'll take this same flight in a couple of months, i hae a few questions. Did you checked online or at malpensa airport? how was the stopover in Beijing (precise security, covid test necessary, and need to chechk again the luggage)? thank you very much ;)
The flight was pretty smooth. Check-in is possible 36 hours before departure. I was only able to do it on a computer and not on a phone. If you have trouble you can also do it at the airport. I didn’t checked any baggage. In Beijing you didn't need a Covid test, but the security checks were very slow because there are only two lines for hundreds of people. I lost about an hour. The experience on Air China was very good, but at Beijing airport not so much
Ho già preso diversi voli con Ryanair o EasyJet all’interno dell’Italia.
Can you tell my why Turkish flies from IST to VIE with such large Aircraft? Is there such a high demand? Usually you would expect A320s or 737s, but not Dreamliners and A350s for such short haul flights...
I had selected the flight from Istanbul to Vienna for this reason! However, I don't know the exact reason: I can only tell you that the plane was completely full! I necessarily wanted to fly on the Turkish airlines A350-900 and I found it on this medium-haul route. If anyone knows the answer, write it in the comments!
Last year in June, I flew Singapore airlines, Airbus A350-900's 5th freedom flight from Barcelona to Milan for the 1st time, same configuration as yours, flight is good and okay, 1 hour and 15 minutes, 1 way, I pay $50, it's quite cheap. 5th freedom flights are fun.
Since i had never tried singapore airlines before, i wanted to try it with this 5th freedom flight. I paid about 90$. The on board service was something fantastic!
Is your flight to Beijing 75% full, do you remember how much you pay to fly Air China, how's passport control in Beijing, is it long and your trip to China?
Lovely trip report. Liked and subscribed. The flight was 3 hours, so I expected sth more than a snack box... Btw, I'm surprised they had headphones although they'd only give it per request, because most airlines don't have them on planes not equipped with IFE screen.
Haha United vs EVA is no comparison, EVA is better in almost all aspects. Pre departure beverage in a plastic cup sums up United for you, cheap, plasticky and boring.
