There is something so bittersweet about the videos of Alexi from 2012-2015...he was as sober and healthy as he'd ever been. He would probably still be with us today if the addictions hadn't won again... 😥

@@kurkkumopo2281 Im pretty sure covid had a lot to do with his demise. He was basicly locked up in his apartment in Helsinki a year in a row, and his gf was in australia and he couldnt go there because of covid restrictions, that broke him probably. His last gig was good though, he had clearly practised for it knowing it could be the last show..since covid shut down the bars and venues at that time..those were only couple one off shows he got to do couple months before his death. Sad indeed.
I sincerely miss this place. I’m also sorry I tried to fight Bam. I didn’t know that he was investing his own money into the place, and buying skate shit for my little brother and other kids.
@@HBC423 not every fights people because famous. It was probably before bam became famous from jackass and was just another pro. Skaters back then were alot more rowdy than today. Lol was probably over something dumb.
Bam is more known for his personality then his skating,but he owned this park. He was super smooth and just felt like at home. You can see he was there for hours and hours. His best skating was done in FDR
