Feriha Yilmaz is an attractive, beautiful, talented and ambitious daughter of a poor family. Her father, Riza Yilmaz, is a janitor in Etiler, an upper-class neighbourhood in Istanbul. Her mother Zehra Yilmaz is a maid. Feriha studies at a private university with full scholarship. While studying at the university, Feriha poses as a rich girl. She meets a handsome and rich young man, Emir Sarrafoglu. Feriha lies about her life and her family background and Emir falls in love with her without knowing who she really is. She falls in love with him too and becomes trapped in her own lies.

I’m so glad that Koray married, Hande is not a nice person. She thinks because she has money she can do whatever she wants. I feel sorry for Koray, but, not for Hande.
Is Hande serious when she says that Emir is in love with Gunesh and that falling in love wasn’t easy. It took Emir only 3 months and a few days to fall in love with Gunesh? Very difficult for me to believe. I think that Emir is telling the truth when he says to Can that Gunesh means nothing to him. The only reason why he bothers with Gunesh is his pricks of conscious. His behaviour towards Gunesh is consistent with what he is saying to Can. Emir feels that Can is his friend and colleague, but he feels that he has responsibility towards Gunesh because of the manner in which he carried out his revenge. From Hande’s conversation with Koray later on, it becomes clear that Hande’s attitude towards working people is different to the attitudes of Koray and Emir. Koray and Emir are understanding and supportive to workers who have difficulties in performing their job due to personal circumstances. Hande interprets such understanding as less to do with human obligations, and more to do with feelings of affections.
Okay, when Emir was asked by Gunesh to choose between 2 things (referring to a work related subject), he said it doesn’t matter which one, nothing changes). I was wondering whether he was thinking that being close to Can or Gunesh was the same, to him it doesn’t matter because his feelings for Feriha didn’t change. If Gunesh is indeed pregnant with Emir’s child, then Emir will chose to be next to her to raise his child to the best of his ability, as he wanted to do, id Ruya’s child proved to be his. In the case of Ruya, he wanted to raise his child together with Ruya, with Feriha as his wife. If Gunesh is pregnant with Emir’s child, Emir would want to raise his child together with Gunesh, but also with Feriha as his wife. This means that while Gunesh will be in Emir’s life as the mother of Emir’s child, he will never marry her. He will always consider himself to be Feriha’s husband. Emir and Unal has many of the same traits. They are not one woman men. But even through long term separations, they both love their respective wives. Unal, although an unfaithful and bad husband, loved Aysun till his last breath. I think Gunesh will probably have some kind of Ece styled relationship with Emir, which will be enough for Gunesh, but Emir will love Feriha till his last breath. Emir is determined to be good, and to get forgiveness from those he wronged. He wants to join Feriha in paradise.
In the last scene, Emir went to tell Yavuz that Engin is blackmailing Gunesh into the engagement, and that Gunesh doesn’t want the engagement. Emir went to tell Yavuz what he did to Gunesh and why Engin is blackmailing Gunesh. If Yavuz kills Emir, and Gunesh is pregnant with Emir’s child, then Yavuz will lose his sister, and Emir will have won the war while losing his life. If Yavuz speaks to Gunesh and finds out that Gunesh loves Emir, and that Emir wants to take responsibility for his actions, and there is a Sarrafogolu in Gunesh, then the war between the Sarrafogolu and the Sancackter families ends. Then penniless Emir can live his life calmly and peacefully. My question is the same question that Unal once asked. “ Where does Feriha fit into all this?” Perhaps the answer is the response to Unal by Levent “ Emir was close to Feriha”. I guess that after the initial shock of his father’s suicide and his actions with Gunesh, holding Gunesh’s earrings helped Emir to remember the values that Feriha valued in her life. The values that Emir learnt through Feriha and also from Riza. And the last few episodes was about Emir’s struggle to clean up his life. Going to speak to Yavuz himself, was the best thing that he could have done.
The last scene of this episode: Emir: so innocent “you’re finally gonna introduce me!” Senam: Guilty and angry she got caught and then confused Levant: just confused Feriha: (This is it) moment! This is how he finally finds out 🥲
Hande looks stunningly beautiful. I think Emir told Hande as much as she needs to know to support his cause of forcing Gunesh in his company. Emir and Hande are working together to bring Yavuz to account.
Did Emir confide in Hande his reason for following Gunesh? Emir wanted Gunesh to know him so that she can believe that his apology is real. Is Emir and Hande tightening their team effort to help Emir’s cause? Hande can see through Emir’s quietness, as she always could. I hope that they made a pact to bring Yavuz down by awakening his sister to her brother’s badness. That will hurt Yavuz the most. Yes it will hurt Gunesh too but perhaps Emir, Hande and Koray can support Gunesh through that crisis.
“Even if I lost forever, you won’t get anything”, Emir said that to Engin. Will Emir tell Yavuz what happened between him and Gunesh, and that Engin is threatening Gunesh as a result of what Engin knows, and is Emir expecting to lose his life in an effort to protect Gunesh? Emir knows that Yavuz won’t harm Gunesh. Yavuz will harm anyone who tries to harm Gunesh. This conversation also reminds me of the conversation between drunk Feriha and Hande, when Feriha tells Hande that it doesn’t matter if Feriha loses Emir, Emir will never be with Hande.
41.42 It appears that Emir will pay off his father’s debts. As much as he can while he is alive. Then, if Emir dies and the debts are not paid, and Emir has a child, then that child would be saddled with Unal’s debt too. Reminds me of the unkind comment by Unal when he said that Riza will have to sell his whole family to pay for debt of repairing Emir’s car that Mehmet smashed. And Mehmet’s concerned comment that Omar’s child will still be saddled by the debt to the Sarrafogolu
I wonder why Emir is looking up heavenward every time when the scene reminds me of something he went through with Feriha. He looked towards heaven after Gunesh told him in his apartment that she doesn’t want his attention and prefers Engin’s. That scene reminds me of the scene in the school work room where Feriha told him that she doesn’t love him anymore. Later Emir learnt from Feriha herself that that was the biggest lie she told him. I can understand why Emir is not convinced that Gunesh wants Engin’s attention. Emir is not offering Gunesh romantic attentions. He wants to protect Gunesh from the fallout of his vile actions. Emir is not vile. He may have thought himself capable of taking the worst revenge on his enemies, but he is discovering his own boundaries. He wants to clean up his mess and doesn’t want others to pay for it.

I really don’t like how this movie went. It was a roller coaster of emotions movie. Tragedy upon tragedy, they didn’t even get to enjoy their love 😢 and I don’t even know what brought me back here

People around Emir pay for Emir’s mistakes. Feriha paid heavily for Emir’s mistakes as well as the mistakes of Emir’s friends and family, and for the mistakes of her own family’s involvement with Emir.
Emir wants to hold Engin accountable for forcing Gunesh into a relationship that she doesn’t want. Emir thinks that Engin is to Gunesh what Halil was to Feriha. Emir knows that what Engin knows about Emir and Gunesh is enough to hold a threat over Gunesh.
I think that Emir isn’t developing feelings of love for Gunesh. I think that he needs Gunesh to know who he is. The Emir who doesn’t lie. The Emir who takes his responsibilities seriously. For Emir, Gunesh’s well being became his responsibility the moment he took from her what he didn’t deserve. Just as Koray accepted responsibility for Gulsum’s wellbeing after he took from the drunken Gulsum. Why would Emir go to such lengths to make Gunesh know the side of him who hates lies? Because he wants Gunesh to believe him when he says he regrets what he did to her. He wants Gunesh to accept his apology. He will go to lengths to get Gunesh’s forgiveness. Why? Not because he loves Gunesh, but because Emir is a decent human being who during incredibly stressful situations, acts irrationally. He acted irrationally when he found out about Feriha’s lies, and also when Ece was taken by Yavuz’s helicopter. On both previous occasions his irrational actions cause severe damage to his relationship with Feriha. Feriha is dead now, and Emir promised her grave that he will join her. Feriha was a good person. What Emir did through his 10 days of lies to Gunesh is seriously evil, and Emir has taken the conversation with Riza (in Emir’s scruffy flat) to heart. Emir is taking steps to repair his relationship with his family. He repaired his relationship with Riza and Mehmet, and is trying to explain to Omar that Omar is his brother in law. All this is preparation for the afterlife because Emir expects that Yavuz will kill him once Yavuz finds out what he did to Gunesh. Without Gunesh’s forgiveness on this earth, Emir will have to gain her forgiveness after death before he can join Feriha in paradise. So , for Emir, it is effort well spent to get Gunesh to know who he really is, and once she knows that he hates lies, she will hopefully accept his apology. This is my theory.
I really don't understand this series now emir is in love with gunes,?? What happened to the love and remorse emir felt for feriha?? The visits to the grave of feriha??? How boring it has become...
