Im here reliving memories. I had no clue about this band other than they were on warped with us that summer. Quickly "Momma's fried potatoes" became like a phrase we'd just say as a band every so often. It was a joke, but I was kinda mesmerized by their set. I watched it every day. Not long after I started dating a girl from Kentucky and by then was a huge fan, got involved in the louisville punk bluegrass scene. 2013, they played waterfront wednesday's with my boy from the cat's playing drums.... Iloved this band. I was reminded of the Hooten Hallers the other night and was trying to see if they're playing near me anytime soon. Before I searched I was gonna look up old rev peyton. Searched instead, and it turns out they are touring together. Imagine that. Its across the state, but worth it. Hope to see em in december. edit: by the way, this crowd is not representative of the musicians on that tour. 2010 warped, MOST bands were obsessed. For the first few weeks, it was all anyone would tlak about. Most of us playing the tour were out there somewhere watching their set every day.
Finally got to see the Rev and the Band live this spring...all I can say is if this guy is playing anywhere near you, GO. Just an amazing talent and a helluva show!
Get down on your knees , cause The Reverend is gonna kick all a y'alls asses!! And you cant touch him. This man and Breezy are the best in the biz. Thanks Rev. Love ya !! Respect from MAINE USA .... come to Eastport.please.
Really good video. In a strange way, kinda reminds me of watching dimebag’s how to videos - watching something from a master that is nearly impossible for us mortals to ever achieve
