Congratulations!!! Mean every word of it ... its not an easy journey bt absolutely doable ... your thought on doing Amboss also and using anki (im not an ankii person) ... too many resources and gets overwhelming! Your thoughts please ... thanks ...
@@jameelashkar9244 I would say AMBOSS and Uworld are pretty even as far as their quality of questions. Uworld is a bit better though in my opinion. For STEP I would put some content review in there somewhere.
Hi Julian, I just wanna ask if you have any websites that you use for practicing for an exam? Im entering Term 1 this August and I just really want to be ready going in to Term 1. Thank you in Advance and hope you doing well.
Hey! It's hard to tell when you haven't been to medical school yet. But i'm sure you will do well given your history and although the match will be far out, i'm sure you'll do well :)
Hey I am currently Pre-med, and I am really interested in SGU, I want to become a trauma surgeon, So what are my chances of getting into a gen surg residency anywhere around the US, appreciate it bro!!!
Hey Man this is super helpful! I'm curious, was OnlineMedEd enough for the shelf? Lots of talk its outdated. Also how did you choose what videos to watch?
Hey man. Online med was more than enough for me. Yeah his videos are outdated but his notes are not. Also his questions are up to date. It would depend. Typically it would take 30 minutes for 2 videos.
Firstly congratulations for passing step1🎉 I’m done with the concepts of First Aid + uworld(30%)+pathoma, Now im currently in 3rd year of my medical school,Im facing problem to revise whole first aid and doing questions parallel, planning to give my step 1 In next 6months(didn’t book the exam date). To manage my clincs and step 1 prep effectively. what would you suggest? Do Hy guru works for me?
Great testimony brother, I am starting to study for the MCAT. I am also a Christian & this story resonated with me, although my life is not so good right now at 21-I am grateful & know that God has a plan.
We have a top three "region" list before we get done with 5th term. The first to get their step 1 score back the more likley you are to get your top region. But specific hospital is hit or miss.
That's a beautiful testimony! It'd be awesome if you upload more content about christianity and how you incorporate it in your medical degree in terms of dealing with stress, spending time with God, etc. I pray God will use you to reach so many people through your platform!
Hi! I will be joining the SGU community next year as a first year Med student. I was wondering, how did you afford living when you were over at SGU? And now that you are back, are you working while doing clinicals. How do the finances work during these years in Med school? Please let me know!
Hi! It's very hard to work while in your first 2 years of basic sciences, but I know some people that do (10 hours a week max). It is almost impossible to work during your 3rd year (50 hours a week for clinicals). Most medical students use loans to help pay for thier housing!
