@@stephenphillips6245 I unironically enjoy it myself. From the iconic scenes to the random unexplained stuff like the little girl in the car and the weird phone call he gets
I make gaming content, work at one of the big gaming stores and didn't know it was coming out until disks showed up one morning in a shipping carton. That's how badly this was marketed. I felt that they were possibly gunning for a high impact surprise launch similar to Apex Legends, but Apex was already running with an established IP, and had solid bones leading all the way back to Infinity Ward. I enjoyed this video. I'm surprised you don't have a bigger following.
@@ZeroGamingSL thank you for the kind words. Maybe one day, but I don't deserve a following right now giving how inconsistent I've been since I started this. Maybe in a few years, who knows. I'll sure do my best so you can keep enjoying, happy that you liked it!
I don't usually leave comments like this but I feel it's important to let smaller channels know that they're doing a really good job. Your editing skills are good and the video was concise and to the point.
Invasion of The Woke Liberal Leftist on the gaming Industry.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Look at all the games and entertainment shows launched since this activism has started , they ruin everything. Ugly characters , ruining story , forced DEI , bringing their politics on the products they are working on, etc...etc.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
i feel like in the games all the witcher are kinda ugly except gerelt. like cpr made it so he was better looking ladies man. im kinda shocked to hear in the books hes portrayed as thin and ugly pale guy. but it makes sense to me. being a torturet child turned into an outcast mutant monster hunter lol.
I think "If you are one of the people that played concord, leave a comment bellow" is the worst way to try to have people engaging the video, but I got the joke
It's not related to games... but for me the most disturbing theories are the Shrek ones. First of all, Shrek invented the name when the donkey asked. another that the donkey was actually a child who was cursed. Incredible
As a Steam user from the beginning, it gradually got better and better. Sadly, in recent year the region restriction has become worse. Also, we (game buddies and I) avoid EA, Uplay, and any other gotta sign up or download their shiznit.
I Play free games on Epic, but i know Steam its The Best Option in General, i give you a Message (and for the World): God loves you, whoever you are, and shows that his love is unconditional towards the world and benevolent by sending his son to die as a sacrifice for all our sins, who also rose from the dead because he is holy and lives forever, He did it for us, he said that if you believe in him, in his son, you get eternal life that cannot be lost, free, believe today and be saved forever from eternal damnation, believe today and get eternal life: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that BELIEVETH in me, though he were dead, yet shall he LIVE: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me SHALL NEVER DIE. BELIEVEST thou this? (Capital Letters added) John 11:25-26 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that HEARETH my word, and BELIEVETH on him that sent me, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE, and shall NOT COME INTO CONDEMNATION; but is passed from death unto life. (Capital Letters added) John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that BELIEVETH ON ME HATH EVERLASTING LIFE. (Capital Letters added) John 6:47 Do you believe it? YEAH. What do you get? 🎁🎁 ETERNAL LIFE!!, YOU SHALL NEVER DIE 🎁🎁 🎉 🎉 CONGRATULATIONS!! 🎉🎉
Steam is just straight up the best launcher. It rarely has any issues, the profile customization is great and basically makes it a social platform too, selection of games and frequency of sales is basically unmatched and Valve just seems like a great company overall. Not to mention the reviews, refund policy, steam deck, steam workshop, guides and so much more. Its actually gotten to the point where I just won't play a game if its not available on Steam because I can't be bothered to download another launcher.
Not a chance i'm getting this. I'm on a ps4 but unlikely to upgrade. other interests in my life than gaming and i used to only play destiny and it's dying. a slow death for years. plus if i go with xbox no yearly psn subcription money out the door. So even if i was getting a new console xbox is looking betrer and better.
I don’t understand the whining about $700. If you’re a real gamer without a PC, then the PS5 Pro is a perfectly reasonable option to get a good gaming experience at stable 60 fps. The $200 upgrade is definitely worth it. Think about it-you’re going to play for hundreds, even thousands of hours, and you’re hesitant to spend $200 more for smoothness and comfort, which is equivalent to 6-8 hours of your work? That’s just funny 😂😂😂
I mean, as a long time 60 FPS PC Gamer, the extra 30 FPS is definitely worth the price. However, since there isn't much magic altering of physics that can be done to produce a faster console CPU, that extra 30 FPS becomes very "iffy". I wouldn't pay that much without a 100% guarantee of 60 FPS across the board for ALL titles.
That is my main concern, really. We all know it is probably where GTA 6 is going to be launched, but I can clearly remember the PS3 launch of GTA 5. Depending on where you were, the stuttering and lag were quite painful.
why are you all so butt hurt over the price of this ? simply dont upgrade or buy it. its a free market and a company can price what they want to price. as long as the PS5 is still available and your choice is a 5 or a 5 pro then who cares, seriously why are you all up in arms about this. if your ps4 dies and now your faced with buying a new console get the 5, if they stop manufacturing the 5 and now your choice is a Pro, a 5 off eBay or GameStop or a low end PC for about $300 more then thats a choice you have to make as a consumer. Sony is showing you what the jumping off point for a 6 will be so just be prepared for that.
Was waiting for the Pro, then I saw the price. Immediately bought an original PS5 Disc version Refurbished. That way, Sony doesn't get my money. Then, with the money I save on that, I'll gleefully put it towards a Switch 2.
During the whole video I was thinking of the scene from the office. "Can you tell the difference between these two pictures? Shhhhh.... They are the same picture"
I remember no one particularly had a big issue with this; It was in season 2 where all the fans got angry because the writers went from deviating from the source material to indulge in their DEI virtue signalling, to then outright throwing the books over the side of the boat and doing their own thing instead. I believe unfortunately the success of season 1 only made the writers more confident in thinking they could get away with their nonsense, when in reality they were confused, in actual fact season 1's success was despite their nonsense, not because of their nonsense, this is how their delusional minds work because they think the world revolves around them. The only reason they got away with it so easily because the owner of the IP legit doesn't care at all what others do with it so long as he gets rich from it; So, unless it financially effects him, then he *really* cares, as in lawyers up cares, I unfortunately saw it coming. Compare this to One Piece where the creator cares a lot about what others do with the IP and micromanaged the hell out of the production, needing to sign off on everything. Netflix had very little room to virtue signal or deviate from the source material, I think they only managed to squeeze in one race swapped character and that was the extent of their nonsense and oh look the show was a success, no surprise, because people care about faithful adaptations.
You are so true about destiny thing. I hate Netflix's adaptation cause it differs from books that much! The most crucial and at the same time one of the best moments of all time in the tale for me is the fact, that Herald does not believe in destiny. His mindset is pretty rational and scientific at the start of the series. And the moment he starts changing is happening when he meets Ciri for the second time near the Sodden's hill. And this thing basically starts the story. So when I'd seen the adaptation for the first time I have been disappointed alot
Btw I'm sorry if I'm not being right about the naming of characters or places. I read the book in Russian, as it is my native, so I'm not sure I spelled it right. The video is pretty good. Actually I've noticed you have that little of subs at the very and so I've been surprised
No problem! I also made some mistakes with the names since I first read the books in Portuguese. It felt like the show took away all the small, genuine moments from Geralt and forced his interest in finding Ciri to fit the storyline. I'm happy that you liked the video. Hopefully, you'll join me for the next video discussing Season 2.
I do like that Geralt taking a pitch fork to gut, humbled him to be more cautious in the games and thought about a problem even more than just charging in spinning a silver sword around
For me, Witcher Games told much better story than Andrezej Sapkowski did with the Books. I was much satisfied playing games rather than books which is unlikely as I'm a more interested in reading
I get myself reading books from time to time, but the games were the ones that got me into the books in the first place, so they will consistently rank 1st over here, too.
He’s not ugly in the books. He just makes ugly faces ‘cause he’s usually being intimidating, and, or, annoyed by people and the situations he finds himself in. In the first book, “The Last Wish”, Yennefer mentions his ‘good looks’, and tells him, ‘not to pull that face’. In several instances in the books, women seem to be attracted to him almost immediately.
The book description is just exagerating his features to show hes a battlescarred mutant. Not only that, but hes a mutated mutant. Hes not just unique among men, hes unique among witchers. Above all, i think what the author was going for is that if you had no notion witchers existed (which in a world like the witchers, a fair amount of peasants would have no clue) if one barged through your door and looked right at you... itd be the most terrifying person youd ever seen. Not ugly, just something is clearly wrong. Clearly his humanity was robbed from him, and hes something else. Clearly it isnt a race thing, nor an evolution thing. Clearly something horrid happened to him. If geralt was ugly, sorceresses especially would be uninterested. Afterall, they literally reform their own bodies to make themselves gorgeous. Why would they want to love someone who became ugly when they reformed their body with mutageons rather than spells? They wouldnt. Theyd detest witchers. Geralt's description in the books is just meant to make you feel that first impression. Once you are familiar with witchers and been around him enough, youd only be weirded out by his eyes.
I'm a female and consider book Geralt very cool looking. Game Geralt from 3rd game has a classic playboy superhero look and I find that annoying. :/ Too many male characters protagonists are like that. I still enjoyed the game yet I'd prefer to see a Geralt with appearance from the 1st game.
i'm not a 100% sure on this one, but i think "ugly" comes from a few factors, 1st one is a translation error. (though i'm not sure about that one), the other is more of his complexion, he is pale, has scars, a not very nice smile, and large dark eyes. This description always makes me think of him as a bit "undead-ish" looking, though also he has no bussiness looking that muscular, he should be thin, i think the witcher 1 geralt and the Michal Zebrowski version are the best examples. In my mind he has not good looking (not ugly per se either) but has a certain charm, but also looking a bit scary aswell by normal human standards. Like imagine if you are walking on the street, and see a guy who is pale as a fuckin wall, white hair, and large all black eyes. yeah he can be handsome, (face shape etc.) but it will be kinda scary like he is possessed or something lol
