Recap: it’s an ink world, it stinks, the villain wants to get the girl into his world. At the end, the main character becomes a superstar. Speak sing that for 6:50 minutes and BOOM, you got an cartoon
Holy crap! I finally found it. I had very vague memories of seeing this short once in my dentist office as a kid, although all I really recall for the most part was Blotto singing "It's an ink world" while his girlfriend keeps insisting that it stinks. Then the villain shows up and so does a movie director. To be fair, I kept thinking the little guy was singing "It's a Nick world" because this short showed up in between some Nickelodeon shows at the time, so I thought it was a bumper of sorts.
Well to be honest that blotto is truly better off without his girlfriend dotto and besides i still don’t really like her in my opinion but he was truly better off without that red gal……
Its jazz-funk/R&B/big band music reminded me of The Blues Brothers. TEMPO (SEGA) and de BLOB (THQ/NORDIC) are the inspired forms for BLOTTO as well as…
I'm...really confused how anyone could be on Blotto's side here. His girlfriend is obviously very unhappy, and he just says you'll be back, like he doesn't even care about her feelings. Then the "bad guy" see's she's unhappy and offers her an alternative. She's into it, they go off, and then Blotto spends 4 minutes being a really creepy and possessive ex boyfriend. Dude get over it, she dumped you because you didn't offer her anything she wanted and you literally didn't even try. The villain, quite literally, did nothing wrong. Neither did the girl, I'd have dumped his sorry butt too.
I FINALLY FOUND IT This has been sitting in the very back of my mind, but my vague memories of it had Snap from Chalk Zone in there, old Mandela effect stuff.
.... Yeah, Red girl is a b*tch. She left him, he tried chasing after her and he has the ability to go big, so she hurts him for going big? Yeah, the plot goes out the window, but I got to admit this much, she's terrible.
Every time I watch this I root for him and Red Girl. They seem like a good match for each other. I mean, maybe not "settle down in rocking chairs someday" good, but compatible enough to have a good time.
