Nascar better way harder to drive a stock car than a car that grips to the ground really well that's why when a Indy car driver gets in a NASCAR they suck ass but the other way around usually NASCAR drivers when they get in a Indy car they are better than the Indy car driver when they were in the NASCAR and finish way better.
True to an extent. I love both series, as well as F1 so I have no bias. When you look at recent NASCAR transitions, it's only been in the Indy 500. Indy is IndyCars closest thing to plate racing. The crew sets up the car, you hold it wide open and point the car where it needs to go. I'd like to see a NASCAR driver run a full schedule before making any claim as to which is better. JPM was never with Ganassi in NASCAR, which wasn't a spectacular team at the time. Stewart won an IndyCar title in 97, although aside from the Indy 500, there were few competitive cars at the time, due to the Indy/Cart breakup. I'd like to see a Kyle Busch, or Larson run a full schedule in Indy. Even then, I don't think you could make a fair assumption. Not every driver translates from one series to another very well.
To all the nascar and indycar/F1 haters, as a nascar fan, it doesn't matter which one is better or faster, racing is racing, I love the sound of both engines but I don't watch indycar/F1, it is what is, I know F1 is faster bc of how light the car is, I know how slower a nascar i's due to the lack of weight, they're both enjoyable to watch and sometimes get boring but it is what is. Nascar and Indycar/F1 can reach 200+mph, their shouldn't be a problem with that, just stop complaining about which one is better. Nascar has gone terrible these days bc chairman Bryan France messes things up big time
Quit bitching about which series is best, each one has its features that makes it different from the other one. I really enjoy every Nascar race but my hearth belongs to Indycar.
