Apart from language barrier moments in this episode, Derek Hill’s communication of taste and insight within his house collection, and work, speaks a universal language of wonder and beauty. Thank you Derek Hill for your living legacy.
Thar barr ar fad. What a beautiful film of a beautiful place. Just one small thing: you might want to lower the volume of the music as it was a bit difficult to hear Aengus at the beginning. Comhghairdeas libh uilig.
I forgot to mention that when I look at the work, I find it to be tranquil. I know it is not meant to be representational, however, I see a view from above, as if in an airplane, looking down upon some ships or platforms on the sea. It is sunny and the negative spaces are sunlight reflecting upward to the sky and space.
I realize this video is a few years old. I liked your explanation of what Constructivism was. I have seen many examples of the work, but not heard any good explanations until now.
