Nathan Chizzali had his first cello lessons from Max Moroder, then he studied with Giuseppe Momo in Bolzano and with Howard Penny in Vienna. He was particularly influenced by Wolfgang Böttcher at the Academy of the „Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra“. Master classes with P. Demenga, T. Varga, P. Bruns, W. Schulz, T. Bényi and H. Tachezi complete his studies. Chizzali is a scholarship holder and winner of various competitions. In addition to numerous solo performances, he is an enthusiastic chamber musician, a member of the Bolzano String Academy and soloist with the Conductus Ensemble, with which he is a regular guest at various festivals. He participated in concert tours in various countries in Europe and Asia and in radio recordings for Bayrischer Rundfunk, ORF, Radio France and RAI. Nathan Chizzali is keen to pass on his experience to young musicians. In addition to his performance activities, he teaches the cello at the music school of Brixen in South Tyrol (Italy).

Bravissimi! Un saluto particolare ad Andrea Albertani, che ho conosciuto a militare (CAR a Como) nell'ottobre 1984. Già allora col violino al seguito e in grado di strabiliare il Circolo Ufficiali.
I am a pianist living in Japan and was asked to accompany this piece so the cellist sent me your link. Can't believe how beautifully you play! I hope that your solo career will flourish and that I will have a chance to hear you live someday!
