My press came with a really grippy pad for the bottom pallet. Would putting a Teflon sheet on the bottom pallet be ok for helping the shirt slide off and into place easier?
I'm not sure if it's just me, but the link for the free distressed samples does not direct to a page with a download link. Maybe the download is no longer available.🤫
I've been working with Illustrator for decades and struggled with this knockout process...how did I just discover this?! There is always something to learn. Thank you very much.
Hello I had letters stuck to heated side I pressed a shirt after I removed it and saw letter marks :( how do I clean it off. I still see removed letters on heated side
Follow the instructions provided based on your machine. If it has a teflon coated heat platen, use a soft towel and clean it while it's warm. If it's an aluminum heat platen with no teflon, use steel wool while it's cool. You can always reach out to the manufacturer of your heat-press, they will be able to assist you with their cleaning suggestions :)
You can do a heat test with your apparel to determine if it can withstand the application temperature of the formulas. Have you ordered our sample pack? You can test out each of our formulas for free! Check it out: fmexp.co/2Nwtow4
Yes, the graphic sizes will vary based on the size of the apparel. For more details, check out our free graphic sizing and placement guide: fmexp.co/2V0k3ip
Hey Ron! If you're using FM heat transfers make sure you're not using any teflon over the heat platen, only on the lower platen where the jersey goes. Are you using screen-printed heat transfers?
When creating a document for print, set the artboard size to the desired dimensions of your design or to the dimension of the sheet you plan to use. Make sure all artwork remains inside of the artboard boundaries. Send your artwork at the exact size you want it to print. Your artwork will be printed at the exact size that it is supplied in your art file.
Can I use the vintage formula on new modern designs? I want them to look new and have good opacity. I just don’t want that hard thick feel of the athletic formula that feels like a sticker on your shirt. Thanks
Yes, you can! Vintage is just a term used to describe the well-worn feeling. Have you ordered a sample pack? You can test out the vintage formula. Sample pack: www.fmexpressions.com/sample-pack/
I send it to the printer and it prints white where the distressed pattern does not remove the pattern on the print but is missing in the picture any help?
Awesome tutorial! Thank you very much! Anyone else having the issue that the mask looks pixelated? I wanted to have my design printed on a shirt but with this pixelation it wouldn't look good :(

We accept .AI, .PSD or .PDF. We also can work with .SVG, .CDR, .JPEG, .PNG & .EPS files. :) For more information on accepted filetypes: support.fmexpressions.com/accepted-filetypes
Hey Anthony! We accept several different filetypes for upload. We prefer .AI, .PSD or .PDF. We also can work with .SVG, .CDR, .JPEG, .PNG & .EPS files. A transparent background is required for the best results, although if it's high quality our team can usually remove the background of the artwork without too many difficulties. Make sure your full-color designs are in CMYK format. Vectorized artwork is best. If your artwork is Rasterized, please ensure the artwork is set at 300DPI.
