You are right. The majority of Hindu God names that end in "A" have the last syllable being silent. Thanks for letting me know, I'll keep notes for future videos.
As a Thanatos main I like these tips you mentioned. One I’ll add is don’t initiate with your scythe throw. Save it when in a fight; the heal can be a game changer.
I enjoy her ability base damage with a sprinkle auto penetration. Classic Blue Stone You'll want some cooldown. Jotunns Get penetration, either crusher or Executioner. Your preference Want to have fun? Try a Failnot Acompany that with a Deathbringer Last having a Heartseeker wouldn't hurt Recipe for a simple Skadi build I enjoy using
Can someone please explain to me why my 2nd doesnt pull people in with the astro thing out? I see it change and I spam E when they are in it, but nothign happens and it says I dont use it
Hmm... the 2 will only activate once the astrolab is deployed. While it is in the air, you will not be able to activate it. The ability has a delayed activation which can give enough time for opponents to walk out of reach. The only other possible reason you're experiencing this is probably a silence being casted on you without you noticing. Which would prevent its activation. Some are a lot more subtle than Nox's giant silence bubble.
It really depends on your role in the team. But generally, i like to build her hybrid either way. 1 or 2 defense items to help you survive any kind of dive. Shield of Regrowth feels great on her as simple examples. Prophetic cloak and Thebes are great if you focus more as a support! Sprinkle in a pridwen if you want too. The rest should be focused on either improving your heals, cooldowns, or damage.
I usually play her in support For starters, it depends on their dive potential. War Flag is great for the early pressure. Benevolence/Compassion is great if you feel you'll get dove a lot. Prophetic Cloak, Thebes is a classic. Either Chronos Pendant or Pridwen for the cooldown. Chronos if you are ahead will help keep the lead. A situational item like; midguardian, rod of Asclepius, or relic dagger Then, finish with something like Spirit Robe for some mitigation or rod of tahuti if you want to be fancy since it's passive works on heals for low hp allies
I’ve been playing this game for 8 years and have 3 stars on Aphrodite but i never knew you can use her Ult to cleanse 2 people, imma start practicing this
Thank you! She's typically played in the long/duo lane alongside the support. She can technically be flexed in the middle lane but has easier success as a carry/ADC.
I couldn't agree more 🥲 I tried my best to simplify him as much as possible without toning down his very high skill ceiling too much. How did I do...??
@@NotMyCabbages7 pretty good. I started smite with anubis and worked my way through the egyptian gods before staying with set. Most people have no idea how to counter him or what his abilities even are so when you put the sandstorm up and have your clones they tend to want to rush you which is a bad idea
His instantaneous teleport makes it very hard to pin him down. Its reach is fairly far, and it can go over walls. Aside from a cripple to prevent it, how would you counter him?
I have so many stars on Aphrodite I have lost complete track of them and even I didn’t know about #7!!!!!! Whole new skill set added to the ult that I didn’t even know existed. That’s INSANNNE
When Smite 2 releases, everyone should receive special currency based on all gems you spent in Smite 1. Maybe you'll get enough to buy the new crossover skin for Aphrodite!
Me as a Thanatos main really liked that guide. It is really helpful for players who don't have experience on him. You could mention that he is a glass cannon with one of the lowest hp and that he can be killed quite fast with cc. But still he has an insane damage output. Especially when you built him crit autoattack based. Since you get percent penetration for free you just get an whole item for free. That way you can land 1500 crits on his list swing. Great guide still!! :) (I'm having 5000 worshipper on him)
@@NotMyCabbages7 I've check and actually just done that, the Eng/Us version of the game spell it Set since all the others country are Seth(the real name by sound) don't know why they have done that, so yeah mb for being salty
It's not a problem. Everything we decide to do is influenced by the game itself. I tried myself and my narrators to also pronounce names correctly. But we decided it best to stay close to the game's design rather than chase any origin facts of these characters. I can understand your upsetness if that's a word. I, too, love to stay close to their source material
Thanks man, you taught me how to play izanami and I've bossed on everyone I've faced. Now I'm learning Thanatos, really excited. Thank you bro. "MYYY CABBAGESSSSS"
That is true and very useful in many situations! His knock up immunity has been added since this video was released. But wouldn't the grab on Ao Kuang nullify the channeling? 🤔
I was mentioning the "stun" (technically a grab) that occurs a second before the knockup happens. But if so, then that's petty sweet for our friendly neighborhood elephant!
Nice video!! Could I make you a request? Make a guide for Awilix, their habilities are not that hard to understand, however I'm struggling to find and link some combos, I just feel missing some details of how to use her properly. I would really like to see an quick guide for it!
In Smite we tend to use the term "High Mobility" as they may have tools to move around the battlefield quickly. But there are a few who do in fact have really high speeds when the right conditions are met: Poseidon, Thanatos, Amaterasu, Charon (new God), Ah Muzen Cab
@@NotMyCabbages7 Thank You, Thanatos matches my playstyle and is awesome (btw is jingwei good for beginners as her passive is just broken in arena, joust)
I wouldn't say she's super beginner friendly but she's very mobile and a safe character. She was my very first Video. It's a little old but the information is still accurate and viable: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XfuzrE6fNtA.html
My list is incredibly huge... Aphro script is in the works. Working full time is not helpful at all 😫 Newer Gods are lower on my priority. I don't have the resources to outshine pro content creators 😭
I feel like a lot of these tips would help new players even now, one I’d agree with is soul eater, it feels like an auto build if you’re gonna go tank or pure damage, you needed soul eater. But an item I feel that is underrated on Sun Wukong is Stone of Gaia, it’s works in tandem with his ult making it a small fountain before going in a fight.
Look at it more like a selfless act. Giving your teammate the full kill credit can have multiple benefits. It can get them ahead in gold and experience and also provide stacks for their items to reach their full potential. Supports can play and provide help from behind far better than any other roles
Another big tip: your passive also applies to minions, so you can’t steal farm from your team as long as someone’s nearby. This also means you’ll get the assist credit for items that require it (Sentinel’s for example). Don’t be shy about clearing!
