After powering down, tried holding the question mark and power button but NO menu came up asking if I wanted to power clean!?!! Why?? I can't run a power clean if never given the option from the printer menu. Ughhhhhhh
Any idea how to replace items for this type of first aid kit as i have the same kit but with my family the kit ended up getting half empty with in a year, been trying to find replacement supplies for it but know idea where to find the supplies for it?
Epson 2780 here. Tried it and it never went into Power Clean mode. Tried every video on Power Clean and think this printer has a flaw that it cannot power clean. I'm tired of waiting 12 hours every day. Never again will i buy an epson
The lines were all clean after multiple cleanings but it still is not printing all the colors. My black tank is full and the colors are 1/2 full. Any ideas?
I am worried about doing a power clean on my Epson ET-2700 as the ink does not seem to be refilling. I believe power cleaning uses up a lot of ink, and if tanks are not full I may damage printer.
Do i do anything other thab hit the button and let it go? Where does the ink go if it says its pushing the ink out and to make sure to have atleast 30%?
Solved my issue but I am concerned about long term maintenance. These power cleanings shorten the life of your printer. Once the reserve tank is full then what?
Power cleaning actually recharges the tubing to the print nozzles like a 1st time install. It is very important to do a power cleaning if you have used a nozzle cleaning kit and nozzle check still shows voids.
I just did this, and before I did, the printer stated that I had to replace the Maintenance Box which collects waste ink. My tank was almost full. You should also have over one third in the ink tanks so you don’t run dry.
This was brilliant... I too had done all the cleaning, nozzle checks and really didn't have the stamina to face Epson's instructions... I couldn't believe how easy it was and it worked! Thank you SO much!
I just don’t understand why Epson (& a lot of uTube fix-it people make this so complicated, when it’s basically just 3 steps: Power off; hold down the 2 buttons & hit ok. Yours was by far the quickest/easiest explanation! Thanks.
My ET-2850 would not go into the Power Cleaning mode by pressing the Power and Question Mark button. There's a page for it in the Troubleshooting screen, though, right after Clean Print Head.
