They are very different. This tool is focused on asking questions based on the document you have fed to the tool. Harvey can answer any legal question and provide citations without feeding it any information yourself. It can also automate communication with clients, conduct contract review and drafting, and plenty of other features.

@@thelegalengineerthank you! I work for a media company and have work in pen testing, risk, incident response, and the director recently gave me a list of contacts to get to know as I move up. I’m going to network now before I even start and maybe take an internship or shadow!!
@@jasonwhite210 Its called Docalysis. It’s a pretty old video of mine. There are plenty of way better tools on the market at the moment. The European based companies have the best tools and rates. If you are looking for a tool that carries out a specific task and don’t have the time to go through my videos you can email me at priscilla@thelegalengineer.com Let me know what exactly you are looking for and what you want the software to do.
Very interesting to see this. I just interviewed at a law firm who were planning on selling their legal expertise to clients in the form of an 'AI Lawyer' chat experience. At interview, I suggested hallucinations might be a problem.... I didn't get the job. Damn my integrity - I'm destined to be poor 🙄
Thank you for sharing this information. Can you provide insights into how Legal AI tools fine-tune their models? Specifically, do they use only laws and regulations for fine-tuning, or do they also incorporate case law? I believe they should fine-tune using laws and regulations, but I'm unsure how they handle different legal cases.
As technology advanced, LegalTech's scope expanded to include tools for legal research, case management, and client relationship management. Previously, lawyers and their teams spent countless hours manually searching through physical records, contacting agencies, and verifying information a time consuming and error-prone process. Modern LegalTech solutions have revolutionized this workflow.
For SA law try LexisNexis +. They have a 7 day free trial. You will get the same features as PaxtonAI and more. Email me if you face any challenges at priscilla@thelegalengineer.com
I’m interested in learning more, I am a paralegal on the construction defects side of things and I am looking for ways to use my time more wisely. It took me 2.5 hours to finish a response answer to a complaint yesterday.. do you think this will work for me?
I think it can help you but will need to know more. Shoot me an email and we can try the software on your tasks before you commit. My email address is priscilla@thelegalengineer.com
This is the beginning of the end of sovereign self-determination. When the global fraud takes place under sea. and commercial law or Roman canon law once made independent by AI technology, we are all enslaved and lost! Once this fraud is automated, it will hardly be possible to restore the true rule of law in the world and everyone will finally be at the mercy of the madness of lobbies and companies.
Sure you can. But I’d like to also recommend Clausebuddy it does more but costs $22 compared to Spellbook’s $299. But if it’s just a one time use then go ahead and use Spellbook.
Hi Priscilla, Thank you for your recommendation! I'm looking for a tool or resource that can help me with legal drafting under Malaysian law. Do you have any recommendations other than Spellbook, Genie AI, and Clausebuddy?
@@chianfuonglee3277 I do. Try out 1. Lexis Clause Intelligence, 2. Drafting Assistant by Thomson Reuters. There are hardly any besides those. Maybe we could develop one lol. Email me if you still aren't happy at priscilla@thelegalengineer.com
@@thelegalengineer appreciate it! Also love this channel haha, esoteric but super awesome combination of interests. I’m a college student looking to build an AI add in for IP law - would you be so kind as to give us 15 minutes of your time some day? I’m already consulting local law firms here but you seem like you may have useful insights on the tech landscape!
Unfortunately, you can't get a longer trial. The best I can get you is a discount for your purchase. I didn't see your email - priscilla@thelegalengineer.com I typically respond within minutes. We can talk about other alternatives to solve your problem.
It can locate any clause in a contract and then interpret it, but it doesn't work vice versa. If 'indicates a employer has control over a worker' is information covered in the contract, then yes it can locate that information.
Also check out Genie AI. It offers a free trial. It can draft an entire document and then you can make edits. Send me an email if there is other software you need.
