This pre-supposes that the modern medical machine does more good than harm. The historical data doesn't agree. The last legitimate major medical breakthrough was penicillin in the early 20th century. The rest of the "cutting edge" has all been in the name of proliferating the religion of modern medicine to humanity's detriment. What were the top killers in 1950? What are the top killers in 2024? This is not science it is an idol by any other definition. Every human being should have access to "health care" that serves them, supports them, heals them, etc... the modern medical machine outside the realm of emergency life saving procedures fails this edict in every way possible. "Do no harm" is their first pledge and there are few if any modern medical engagements where no intentional/erroneous/ill advised harm is done. Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us all.
I have been dealing with stress and anxiety to the point of extreme brain fog and cognitive issues, that have been non stop so far for now 7 months. I meditate, but I never can full trust that process. This I can trust and practice trusting God and clearing the mind and be safe spiritually. I am glad the Lord has brought this to my attention!

So many questions my head is spinning. I love this teaching…I feel hopeless in that area of my life. I tell this very issue to the Lord. I feel scattered, bored and stagnant. I find myself looking at documentaries a lot of the time, most about airplanes, Antarctic explorers, and ship disasters. I feel I need a miracle to change me. Because I run toward the Lord, then I freeze from feeling out of place. I do deal with a lot of physical pain and lethargy. But before I get too low the Lord steps in and lifts my spirit and I feel alive again,but I must not be stoking the flames enough. Thank you for listening.❤
Bishop lazar is a very kind and thoughtful man. I met him once. My friend Dustin told me to kiss lazars hand and ask him for a blessing. Then Bishop lazar grabbed my hand with great speed and kissed me on the hand with the pure love of a father and laughed saying "oh! I thought you were talking to me". He blessed me with the genuine love of his heart that acts to be like Christ. His love is great and the reason why he is worthy in the eyes of God for great wisdom. Consideration in the persute of truth is a pure reflection of compassion in the heart and the minds connection to it.
The legalism that creeps into these videos makes me sad 😢. Just put your faith in God. Every day strive to stay faithful. Keep a watchful eye on your heart. You were saved the moment you asked if your heart was true. But we can lose that faith. Keep fighting the battle.
It doesn't matter how the Rapture became famous. What matters is if it's Biblical. Jesus said that his second coming would be as the days of Noah and of Lot. What did God do with Noah and with Lot before he allowed his wrath to do the clean up work. He removed the believers. Now this is a shadow of what is to come. Think of it this way. The Rapture is not the believers escaping tribulation. The Rapture is God taking the believers aside so that he can clean up the world. He can't clean up the world without taking the believers aside.The Bible said that the believers are not appointed unto his wrath. And the Bible clearly says that his wrath is coming for the entire earth. It also talks about him coming as a thief in the night. If you think that he is just going to come as a thief now with 8 billion people and only maybe 1 million are believers and so the other 7.9 billion people will be lost you do not know the mysteries of God. The time after the Rapture or setting aside the believers so that God can pour out his wrath on the unbelievers is also the time where most of the people in the world will turn to God and they will become believers. God will do as he has said he will do in the Bible for the sake of saving as many people as possible. Unfortunately people are stubborn and will only believe in him when they are faced with his wrath. So please see the Love of God in this Rapture/ catching away as clearly in the Bible, you can Google it as God having mercy on this unbelieving world. Because if there is no Rapture and he comes as a thief like the flood at Noah and Lot most of the people on this planet will be lost for ever.
Not according to Scripture, where the Apostle clearly tells us to confess to one another, to the elders, and be anointed by them. Likely you do not understand the nature of "confession." In the context you are speaking, one should never consult a medical doctor but "consult only God" when you have medical problems. Confession (at least in the Orthodox context) provides a secure opportunity to discuss you struggles and seek advice. You also are not very familiar with the bible. To whom did David confess? Which Apostle directs us to confess to each other? Read the Scripture, and you will get a totally different (and more Biblical) understanding.
Maybe we could say if you are confessing to these people and leaving out God you are mistaken. However in the context spoken of in the Bible we are confiding in each other and holding each other accountable through confession. It is by no means a substitute for God.

@@Orthodoxy4Life no i dont wear a cross necklace. I have never actually attached any imagery to my faith its how i grew up so i also dont wear a cross. But i have started wearing cross earrings when i dress in a way that is modest enough to get people saying im scared to admit im islam. It is difficult because some think my mother is forcing me and i dont want to live life and experience it
I was searching on RU-vid fir info on "the priest of Midian" as referenced in Exodus 2 because of what I read later in Exodus 4:24-26. It is a scene that appeared at first reading to be out of place. However, thinking further about it, it did make sense. The Lord was insisting the son of Moses be circumcised, just as God had commanded Abraham to do as a sign of the covenant made at that time. Therefore, I wanted to know about this priest because Moses' wife seems none too happy in the Exodus 3 scene. From what I have learned from you, Lazar, is how Moses was to learn about his ancestry, traditions and the commandments of God from his father-in-law, Jethro the priest. Well then, there is some reason the son of Moses was not circumcised as he should have been and the Lord saw to it that he was, even threatening Moses with death. Interesting.
My father grew up being terrorised by all this nonsense in a Brethren Sunday School. As an adult he's never been a religious person but when I was a kid my dad would start talking about all that scary stuff he was taught after he'd had a few beers so that terror got passed down to me too. When you learn that kind of fear at such a young age it haunts you for life. I still struggle with fear and anxiety and, even though I've had some success convincing him that God can't be the monster that he learned about in Sunday School, my father is still obsessed with the end of the world and is firmly convinced that it's just around the corner. His addiction to watching the news reinforces it all in his mind. Nobody can tell me that rapture theology and the theology of the Brethren in general is anything but poison to the mind and soul. I've seen the fruit it produces both in my father and in myself. I'm glad Puhalo calls it heretical and doesn't use soft language to denounce it. Any teaching that puts fear and terror into people creates mental illness and retards spiritual growth. It produces bad fruit, so it must be heretical and twisted in some way. 'Gospel' means 'good news'. Genuinely good news can't produce bad fruit, so if your "good news" is producing bad fruit then maybe it's not actually good news. Maybe you've been sold a counterfeit gospel and it's time to totally re-examine everything.
I reject such an idea. Why would demons have such power over ones Soul for judgement? Christ is the ONE with this power and this power alone. He would never allow these creatures such a power over a mans soul because this very thing alone strips Christ of his power over all.

Notice that Chrysostom, Basil the Great and others never mention this neurotic fable. Nor do any of the liturgical services for funerals or memorials.
Either you follow Jesus blindly, or you are judging the actions of the character known as Jesus to be good, which would make you the judge of Jesus and of what is good or not good, meaning Jesus has no real relevance as to what you perceive to be good or not good. If you follow Jesus blindly, then you have no true judgement of your own and as such no real individuality, you are but a mindless drone. If you are able to judge if the actions or words of Jesus are good or not good then you do not need Jesus to tell you what is good or not good and you are truly capable of independent thought. If you are blindly following any religion be it that of Government or Church, you are not capable of independent thought and by that fact alone should not be telling others what to do.
By grace, not by nature. Angels seem to be "intelligent energy." They are bodiless (as the divine services make clear), but, when God wills, they can take on the likeness of a human. We repeatedly refer to them as "bodiless heavenly hosts" in the divine services.
Catholic here. Never was taught about a mysterious cosmic law which God can't control. We were taught that God has complete control and could have introduced the prescription to mankind by any means He desired... He could've opened the sky and explained "hey, you guys it's me God...I love you so much that I forgive you for your sins" but didn't do it that way or any other way for a reason. He did it because we know talk is cheap. We know that love is shown with actions.... He did it to SHOW/ teach us about his love. Over time, have you come to understand the western position maybe a little better which isn't an opposition or offence to the eastern view?
Thank you Father, your message is clear direction on what I should focus on, let my heart allow to connect with my mind. Mind is easy to change, heart is the hardest. You were praying the Jesus prayer while talking to us. May that way of thinking about God shine on me during the time my heart is hard.
