well youd have to start by defining what makes a game great to really have the convo. but I mean mean wow has persisted in top 3 for its genre for a long long time.
@@mekmekoo1269 Being insanely successful for the first 10 years and at, or very near the top of it's genre after the next 10. They sort of gave the mold to almost every other MMO game that came after it. The monetary success has to be noted, people after all these years still paying and playing. The game, despite your opinion is actually a lot of fun, though current retail isn't really my cup of tea. There is a reason so many people play/played for years at a time. There's many reasons really and you don't have to like the game for it to be great or one of the greatest.
@@Preema24 I'm not saying it's not successful. I'm saying it's not good. A lot of bad games are very successful. The fact that you couldn't mention anything about the game itself kinda proves my point. There is nothing that WoW does that a ton of other games don't do better. The core gameplay is objectively bad, you just do the same sequence of abilities over and over. The game looks bad. I literally can't think of anything about it that is worth giving it credit for other than financial succes. But, If you think that's a fair criteria to judge if something is good or not, then heroin weapons of war must also be really good.
I agree that photorealism is not a good style, but not for the same reasons Photorealism often just looks bland and uncreative. It also doesn't age as well. The legend of Zelda wind waker still looks good to this day, but games that were trying to be realistic from that generation look old.
Yeah it's pretty clear the host is not in anyway a gamer. Blizzard is a company that is trying to make money. Pandarens clearly were a way to make money. If the host ever plays WoW, he's perfectly free to choose any race other than a Pandaren. Just don't sheet on the large amount of Panda players who did make the choice.
True. You're gonna be killing the same stuff over and over, but it's probably not going to be a boar. Unless they reskinned a boar to fit the area you're in. Which happens pretty often.
@@loka7783I played wow and killing freaking boars at the night elf starter as long as they give me enough xp burnt into my mind, because horde players kept illing us and the quest NPCs. The South Park episode was like that, because it is true.
@@roberth4395 I know that there is a video that explores the idea of killing boars for as long as possible. I forget what it said but maybe with Chromie time you could go to 61st level as I don't think Dragonflight has any boars.
Boss fights, boss rush modes, kickstarter games, games with no dialogue, wanting different experiences for different playthroughs... and no mention of Hollow Knight? Disgusting... (I swear I play other games)
