Trump killed the bipartisan Immigration Bill that would have made a significant difference. Years ago when the tea party was first getting started and John Banner was still Speaker of the House the GOP killed an Immigration bill that even Trump and the Proud Boys would have loved. Does the GOP really want an Immigration Bill ? Before the Tea Party took hold of the GOP and morphed it into MAGA the issue could have been resolved years ago. However both parties suffer from having a fringe minority on both sides that stifle any reasonable change. Maybe start by firing the one responsible for stopping the bipartisan Immigration Bill in the first place. It would have been the biggest win for the GOP but; (They blew it!)

I don’t get what political points MAGA is trying to gain by crapping on Springfield. Ohio is a Republican stronghold, especially Springfield. We have a Republican governor. Springfield is a Republican congressional district. JD Vance is the senator from the area. Even the mayor of Springfield is Republican. If things are bad in Springfield there are no democrats around to blame. This whole thing irks me because given different rhetoric Springfield could be held up as a success. The Haitian immigrants moved there because factory owners had a boom and needed workers. The factory owners were the ones who advertised and brought the Haitians to Springfield with the promise of good jobs but then everyone just dropped the ball and never bothered to invest in the community to make sure there were ESL classes, additional healthcare providers, more teachers at the school. People are frustrated because the community social service safety net has been picked apart for years and now those picked over bare bones can’t support growth.
Unfortunately, more and more proof is coming out that this is happening. There are photos, witnesses, videos that happened well before Trump bringing it into the spotlight! The media is gaslighting per usual!
Resources are stretched because a small town doubled. Guess who pays for that? Tax payers. Illegals are a HUGE problem and we can’t just take in the world or you destroy America from within. Then how do we help the world then.
Dewine has run a haiti charity for over a decade with his wife, and I believe through their church. Its no coincidence haitians in fairly large numbers are now ending up in Ohio cities. Your Governor felt more compelled to help Haitians than he does help Working Ohio families. He just managed to find an extra 2.5 million to help the haitians....your Governor, your haitians....your problem.
