Haha so glad this was not my teacher in middle school I would not have been able to focus 😂 But now I'm trying to finish my degree to be a teacher and I can't focus because I'm watching this guy on RU-vid. But actually thank you for your videos.
In 8th grade we used to work really hard to get one of the male teachers to cry. Once you display that emotion to kids, you’re done. You’ve lost them. They will make your life a living hell. 😁
People born in 2012 are 12 or turning 12 this year when I was 12 I was in the 6th grade for the first half of the year and 7th grade the second half of the year. Also i didn’t receive my period until the summer post 7th grade and pre 8th grade. Better question who is the middle schooler that thinks everyone in their class is old? Cause when I think of middle schoolers I think ages being roughly 11/12 to 14. 11/12 depends for example some schools middle school starts in 6th grade and some schools starts in 7th grade. There’s also JR high but we didn’t have that here but I think that’s the same as middle school just a different name
No joke my teacher spent a week going over the word safety. Gave us a whole test and everything. When a student asked why she said “well considering you all clearly don’t know what it means, I would be taking notes if I were you.”
When you only had ....flip phones. I didn't tell them we had rotary dial. They asked me if i had been in a prairie wagon and i said my Gramma actually did but then they had trains to come to California. Then they asked me if they had flip phones back then. So cute.
I don't think/look/or act old and I am in pretty good shape, but according to the mindset of his students, I guess since I was born in 1964 and just turned 60 back in the Springtime, I am the equivalent of an Egyptian mummy. Lol! 🤣
I do the ultimate combo. Have black earbuds(I have black hair so it's perfect camouflage), Long hair, cover it, have a hood over. Did it a bunch. -Bonus points if it's the perfect volume for you to understand and hear the teacher so you are alwert whenever they call you and not deaf, while you just want to have background music.:)
It's not the teacher's fault, but maybe if schools started actually using books, paper, pencil, and lectures to instruct again rather than basically a form of online school in a room with a teacer we would see our literacy and mathematics scores rise in international score tables again. Maybe if we actually stared disciplining students and highlighting the power dynamic difference between teachers and students and adults and children and just generally demanding more respect, morality, and purpose out of young people schools would go back to being safer, less violent, and more respectable again. This comes from a Millennial gay athiest by the way.
If you have an autism diagnosis you can usually just wear bulky-ass bluetooth headphones and say they're noise-cancelling and you get overwhelmed with noise and need them
one kid who sits next to me had a science test and he had his review sheet on the chair and was sitting on it, every time he didn’t know an answer, he’d look down and read what the review sheet said. pretty smart
