The left part of the clock is very hard to take out by trying to pull it with your hands. One easy way to do it is fitting a zip tie near the clip, try doing it from the top and using the wall of the console to guide it down, once you have both ends of the zip tie just pull them both towards you and the clock will come off.

I have exactly the same model and I have to admit, it's my favourite CAR model I have so far- absolutely perfect model! I say CAR, because I build truck models myself and one of those can be seen on my channel. And yes. this Volvo is T5-R and specially painted in yellow was that car standing on Volvo's top of that time.
I m struggling to take out one side of digital clock. The passenger side corner would not come out. I m using all my strength. Only way is to brake the thing Just don't know what to do .please help
For a RHD car it's easier to release the left end first. If you pull out the right end first it jams the left hand end. Basically it has to come out parallel with the face of the facia the way the clips are angled.
Very informative , I have the same color one that i am now battling to figure out how to get to the alternator as i need to change the regulator ...its such a nightmare no room to work compared to a Citi golf
Johanwynand V.d.westhuizen Hi Johan. I am from SA but not a full mechanic. I just do minor fixes and this one was a bit of a challange so thought I would share.
This was very informative for me as I drive one of these and like you say there are very few of these instructionals on the chery vehicles hope to see more in future and thanks for the reply👍
